Great site, plenty to do! Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Fantastic well established site, where every little detail has been covered! Proper washrooms and toilets that are cleaned regularly.
Plenty to do for kids and had a food van, pizzas and a little bar over the weekend. So if you don't like cooking, you don't have to. Lots of nearby walks, a games room and outdoor toys for the kids. An on-site shop, which is very reasonably priced. Or if you fancy a short walk to the pub, there are 2 down the road. It can get busy, but there is lots of room. We are regular visitors to this site over many years and it's one we recommend for local camping!
Amazing value for money
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 We had such a lovely weekend at this site, couldn't believe the facilities given the price we paid. Wood-fired pizza and a mobile cocktail bar! Can't wait to stay again!

Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Beautiful campsite! Stunning place photos don't do it justice, really nice and tidy site. The views are beautiful.
Only slight negatives were that the showers weren't warm and some of the dogs were noisy but it didn't affect us enough to not want to come again, everything else was perfect!
We can't wait to go again the kids loved it! We felt very safe also.

Barn Farm camping
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Brilliant stay at Barn Farm. A well maintained site: dog friendly, good showers, toilets, children's play areas, shop, bacon butty van and mobile pub! Wood fired pizzas on a certain night looked great. 5 min walk to 2 pubs both serving food, but busy so need to book. Alpacas in the field were lovely to watch.

Lovely views and peaceful setting Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return. The site did get very busy at weekends and the toilet/shower facilities are slightly lacking for the amount of people on site but this did not effect our stay too much. The kids very much enjoyed the play equipment provided, particularly the trampoline. We will miss the peacocks and alpacas and the lovely views over the hills!
