About the site

An amazing waterside location with direct access to Loch Lomond. Great for outdoor adventures, the site offers kayak hire and a jetty, with plenty of surrounding walking routes and mountain climbs to take on! There are 7m x 9m hardstanding pitches, welcoming campervans, caravans, motorhomes, roof tents and trailer tents. Each includes a 15 amp electric, water and grey waste hook up, along with a Freestat TV connection. Onsite, you will find a handy small shop and even a family lounge area with a TV, board games and WiFi, great for rainy days. There is a park for keeping little ones busy, along with a small beach area. Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two dogs allowed per pitch. In the evening, you can unwind with a BBQ, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Do note, open fires and disposable BBQs are not permitted. If you want to go out for dinner, there is a range of restaurants/pubs within a ten minute drive. The site also offers a range of luxury lodges and caravans, some with views over the water.

On the shores of Loch Lomond, the site offers kayak hire and a jetty, along with a small private beach and fishing. Please note, activities are not available in November.

Site location was good, nice enough pitches and in better weather there would be lots to do. More than 1 shower would have been good and could have been cleaner, a lot of hair lying in the shower. Wi-fi was awful, didn't work at all. 10am checkout was a bit early considering check-in is 12 noon so £45 for less than 24hrs, I thought was a bit much.

What time is check-in and check out at Loch Lomond Holiday Park?

Guests are able to check-in from noon until 5pm, if you are delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 10am on your last day. You will receive a text message on the day of arrival with your pitch details.

Is Loch Lomond Holiday Park dog-friendly?

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome to join you for your stay for a small additional cost. Please ensure that dogs are kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted, sorry.

Things to do on site and in the Tarbet area

Guests can hire kayaks from the park, the perfect way to explore the water. The loch is also great for paddleboarding or canoeing, making it easy to enjoy a peaceful morning or scenic sunset paddle.

About a 15 minute drive from the site, the Falls of Falloch is a stunning waterfall where the River Falloch tumbles over a rocky ledge into a deep pool below. The short walk to the falls is lined with mossy rocks and trees, and a wooden viewpoint lets you look right into the plunge pool.

Roughly 45 minutes by car, Inveraray Castle sits beside Loch Fyne in the village of Inveraray. This castle has towers and turrets, beautiful interiors and garden walks. You can even hike the easy Inveraray Castle circular trail, a scenic loop beside the River Aray.
