Easter weekend camper stay

Had x2 amazing nights stay here. The site was really nice. We was lucky to have a river view pitch and it actually made the stay even better. Rated facilities 4* just of the fact that there was only shower blocks/toilets ect, i knew this before booking and this is exactly what I wanted, so my personal rating would actually be 5*. Maybe I missed something but I do think they could give some sort of discount to the caves when staying on the campsite, we did visit the caves just made the stay that extra bit costly (caves £81 x2 adults x2 kids) Other than that the campsite is really good and worthy of a stay if in the area. Fantastic

First time here and I loved it very quiet and clean and in immediate access to walks and caves etc. on arrival was greeted very pleasantly by staff picked our own pitch which is always lovely and yes your right the showers are amazing loved that. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you very good value.

Not a lot to do here especially with kids

Nothing to do there other than walk up the mountain or pay to go in the farm/caves/dinasour park. The shower block was fantastic tho. And the typical wet cold weather didn’t help, but I would of thought if you were staying on the campsite you could go in to the farm at least? Buy you needed the caves ticket to go in the farm.

Most beautiful campsite we’ve been to!

I honestly could not recommend this campsite enough. Each camping spot was absolutely beautiful, it was hard to choose which one we wanted to go in! It was so peaceful and quiet onsite, the views were stunning and the staff were so kind. Apologies I didn't catch the ladies name, however the lady who checked us in on arrival was truly a ray of sunshine🥰 The toilets were clean and warm (which was so nice when it was cold outside!). Each pitch almost felt private, instead of pitches all in a line, this campsite felt so different to what we normally experience. It has so much character, we cannot wait to come back, I would recommend this to anyone!

Great campsite

Lovely campsite, with outstanding facilities. Would be nice to have a cheaper pricing option for those in smaller campers, that don't need fully serviced pitches, but for 1 night was happy to pay. Lovely and helpful site warden, would definitely visit again.
