Perfect, secluded site.
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 The site is conveniently close to Dartmoor and the A30, but is down in a dip offering seclusion and quiet. Friendly owner, who visited for a chat once I was setup. Perfectly adequate facilities; showers, toilets, washing-up sinks.
Perfect for a relaxing break
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Lovely little site with convenient access to Dartmoor and Exeter. The campsite has a very relaxed vibe which is underlined by the hammocks and fire pits. The facilities were clean and provided all that we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Easily found using Google maps and signpost, up a "gravel" track.
Reception well signposted. Had issues with pitch allocation after having booked 2 pitches and only allocated one. But quickly sorted out. Although had another camper right next door, on the "same pitch". Would suggest clearer indication of each pitch. There are markers, but us not clear where the marker is, in relation to the pitch. Post in middle of pitch, or to the left or right hand sides?. Would suggest arrows on the post to indicate which way the pitch goes? Like A ->, B->, C -> etc. To indicate the pitch starts at the marker, towards the next marker (border).
But apart from this, the 2 days were very relaxing, and will def return! Thank you to the owners.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 My daughter and i absolutely loved our stay. It was so perfect for us. Close enough to the village to walk for food. We pitched near the stream and it was just so peaceful and lovely. The hammocks were a hit

Fantastic little campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We stayed here for a couple of lovely days and enjoyed our stay immensely. The small camping field is idyllic with a stream running alongside, hammocks to chill in and tree swings for the kids to enjoy.
Basic but clean toilet and washing up areas. Simple reception with fridge and freezer to use and you can hire wood and fire pits for hire for only a few pounds.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Fantastic campsite. Lovely and quiet. Thoughtful hosts with a freezer, kettle and microwave to use in the reception area, if you were to need them. Even helped us when our car wouldn't start. Will definitely be back!

Bank holiday week
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Nice quiet site with spread out pitches. We had a grass pitch with hook up for our camper van. Road access to the site is narrow but that's Exmoor for you!
Toilet and shower block were basic but usable, and kept quite clean. Didn't really see the host as you pre-book and sign in, so lacks a bit of 'Bon homie', but overall very satisfied and met our need's admirably.

A peaceful site in a great beautiful location

It was a lovely location and the facilities were clean and very adequate.
I cannot rate the service as we just booked ourselves in, but going by the overall standard I would imagine service would be good so have given 3 stars.
