Sprinter-Type Campervan - Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Where to begin, it was perfect…. We have stayed at many campsites in our van and this has been our favourite to date!!! So easy to enter, no hassle. Field was freshly cut, and very very clean! Showers and toilets clean as your own. Very peaceful, lovely lake to walk around. Huge football field with permanent goals that me and my boy used a lot. Everything was just hassle free and a joy to stay there!!

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Although we decided to stay during a storm, the site was lovely. We chose the location specifically as it was advertised as a quiet spot. The first two nights were great, but unfortunately, we had two groups either side arrive on the last night and were very rowdy. I completely understand and support gatherings of family and friends, but my children and I were kept awake until 1am. The conversations were full of very bad language, which was so sad to listen to. I completely understand it wasn't the sites fault for their choice of topic or language, it was just disappointing they chose to ignore the 11pm quiet time and there was no one there to enforce it. Great spot though, you just can't choose your neighbours unfortunately. Park, pitch and pond were well kept and a nice touch.

Site's response

We are very sorry that other campers spoilt your stay. We include an out-of-hours number in our pre-arrival email and it's on the door of the facilities block. Our wardens live on park so can deal with these kind of situations.
