First time camper!
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 As someone who has never camped before, this park is incredible! You want for nothing, site is incredibly clean and the staff are brilliant. Pop up pizza cart and coffee shop are ace and the bank holiday weekend live music was an added bonus to what was a brilliant weekend. We are already looking for book back for next year!
Lovely site
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 A lovely site, family orientated. Great facilities, with shop and games room. Also they take great effort on Bank Holiday weekends with live bands, mobile bar, and catering vans, and kid inflatables.

Brilliant Bank Holiday weekend stay
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Another fantastic weekend at Barn Farm. We have been coming here for many years and we still think it's the best campsite ever! It's clean and tidy and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful and keep everything running so smoothly. Plenty of toilet and shower facilities. Bank Holiday entertainment was a real bonus- we loved dancing along to the live bands!
Great campsite!
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Great campsite, perfect for the kids with plenty for them to do! Campsite arranged some good entertainment throughout the weekend and the facilities were spotless. Showers were a little too hot but other than that… perfect!
Bank holiday

Amazing
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 We had the best weekend with friends and we had no electric, but we didn't even miss it. The kids loved running around and playing. There were live bands on all weekend and bouncy castles and bubble football. The toilets and showers were the cleanest I've ever been to.There is a on site shop that is reasonably priced and they had breakfast, pizza and street food vans, ice cream van that drove round.
It was just awesome, and we will definitely be back.
Superb location and facilities
Medium Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 It's the third (and best) time we have stayed here in a group. The campsite is well organised and the facilities are clean and regularly maintained. The site is somewhat hilly so you have to be thoughtful when orienting your tent, but the views are amazing and the access to the moors for lovely walks and scenery is on your doorstep. Despite it being a BH weekend they don't overbook the fields, so there's plenty room. Perfect location.

Good weekend but poor toilets
Large Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2022 The facilities were great in that there were food services, bar services etc but the fast food (burger & chips stand) was ridiculously slow. She just could not cope with the amount of people and cooked on demand, which I felt didn't work. The pizza service was brilliant and very well organised.
The toilet and shower facilities were a bit messy, and smelly. The toilets were blocked, ran out of toilet roll and hot water for showers and pit washing also ran out. Not enough showers to meet demand, with long queues and then no white water. My children had a lukewarm shower only once. This could do with improvement.
The water pressure at the drinking water taps also dropped because of the demand. The toilets never smelled clean and of cleaning products, though staff were in there quite a bit.
The bands and entertainment was excellent. The security could have done better at controlling the few people who forgot they were on a family camp site, not at Glastonbury at 2am.
Apart from the toilets, showers, cleanliness and hot water issue everything else was great.

Fabulous long weekend
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 This place is a little gem, nestled in the beautiful village of Birchover with Stanton Moor on the doorstep and some of the finest countryside and quaint villages you could imagine. The site is stunning and very peaceful. The team are outstanding and nothing is too much trouble, and the facilities are awesome. For the bank holiday weekend they even had a pop up pub on the green, a wood fired pizza outlet, as well as a coffee and pancakes van and another serving great value breakfasts. We had a lovely chilled weekend, thanks!
Another amazing stay with friends
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Absolutely fantastic campsite. The additional extras included as part of the bank holiday weekend were exceptional. From live bands to wood fired pizzas and the very lovely staff at the hot food van.
This place goes from strength to strength each year we come.
Family and friends annual get together

The only negative would be the toilets. My wife used them and they were extremely busy, not particularly clean and smelled bad.

Fun at Barn Farm
Large Tent - Large Overflow Field Pitches (Field 2) Aug 2022 Great fun on bank holiday weekend. Our group loved the site! Loads to do with a pizza van, shop, park for the kids and own space for playing football/games and climbing in the trees. The boys loved the live music and the cocktails were very good. Would defo recommend.
The only negative was the showers in one block were freezing then boiling. Also the toilet block smelt bad all weekend, probably just needed extra cleaning when busy. We'll be back next year

A good set-up for children, not the most relaxing for adults Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 We stayed in high summer and it was very popular with big family groups and young kids. It had a "festival" vibe and was pretty lively.
They had visiting butty, coffee and pizza vans. The toilets were clean and the basic facilities were good. The shop was a bit disappointing as many campsite shops nowadays stock nice local produce, and this one doesn't.
I thought the opening times were also erratic.
The village itself is beautiful with walks starting directly from the campsite, and the food at the Red Lion was brilliant. It may be more peaceful at other times of the year but for those wanting a quiet countryside stay, this probably isn't it. Overall not for us, but great for many I'm sure.
Perfect Peak experience
Medium Tent - Family Playground Field Non Electric Pitches (Field 4) Aug 2022 We've been visiting Barn Farm for years. It's in an excellent location and has all the facilities you could wish for - whether you're an old hand or whether you're new to camping. We thought reception staff could be more welcoming, but the campsite as a whole is well looked after. We had a great time!

Lovely site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches (Field 1) Aug 2022 Stayed for 5 nights with a 4 year old. Lovely site, plenty to do on site, games room, park outdoor games for children, shop, washing machine, fridge and freezers and even a sunbed to use. Lovely and clean toilets, showers and pot washing areas cleaned regularly. Plenty of local walks, 2 pubs within walking distance. Little one loved the peacocks and alpacas too.Will definitely be returning.
