About the site
This small touring park is located for those looking to explore Edinburgh and the Lothians. The site is surrounded by countryside and scenic trails with sandy beaches a short ten minute drive away. The capital of Edinburgh is also within a 45 minute drive.
The site is suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes with self contained facilities only, as there are no onsite toilets or showers.
Guests can choose from a range of 6.5m x 6.5m pitches, with the option of grass or hardstanding. The electric pitches include a 16 amp hook up, whilst the serviced pitches have an additional water tap and drainage hook up. Everyone can enjoy free WiFi during their stay too.
Located on a working farm, guests will often have views of farm animals in the neighbouring fields. There's also a farm walk where you can get a closer look at the animals, and a handy onsite farm shop where you can pick up home reared produce and local goods like fruit, veg, eggs and more.
Evenings can be spent enjoying a BBQ, the perfect way to try out some of your purchases from the farm shop. Do note, open campfires are not permitted.
Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch, with various walking routes leading directly from the site. Dogs must be kept on a lead due to this being a working farm.

Please note that there are no toilets or showers, so everyone must have access to their own self contained facilities. There is a waste disposal and motorhome service point, along with an indoor washing up area, coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer, and free WiFi. Caravan storage is available too.
The Brand Family Larder is an onsite farm shop offering produce from the farm, as well as other local businesses, including fresh fruit, veg, eggs, meat and bakery items. The shop is open daily but please check opening times.
The Merryhatton Garden Centre is also within a ten minute walk with a cafe, with other eateries like The Crown and Kitchen within a five minute drive. Larger supermarkets like Tesco are a ten minute drive away.
