Happy campers

This was our first proper campsite with Voxy, our campervan and was a great place to stay. Very warm welcome when we got there, good pitch and the facilities were very good and clean. The location is great for a short drive to the Lakes for walking. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Excellent Facilities

I’ve visited this site a couple of times now and really enjoy it. It’s peaceful, adults‑only, and spotless. The showers are lovely and hot, and there’s a fantastic pub just a few hundred yards away with great food. I’ll definitely be back.

Great site

Lovely site with a great personal welcome from Paul. Excellent for our two spaniels and very quiet site and location. The pub was amazing so thanks for that recommendation! Would definitely return.

First time in Motorhome

What a perfect place to start our journey in a motorhome for 3 nights , The whole campsite, is looked after, by a couple who really care how there campers feel , The showers, toilets, and attention to your pitch , is top rated well done to Paul & Sarah , we will be back Regards Steve& Margy

Little Acre Campsite

Fantastic stay, staff were both friendly and helpful. The facilities were above and beyond what you would expect from a campsite. In fact the toilets and showers would not have looked out of place in a hotel room. Just a short walk across to the local dog friendly pub which does lovely meals is ideal and a short walk to access the canal is good for a gentle stroll. Would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone

Amazing campsite, perfect location

Little Acre was exactly what was advertised and more! The campsite was brilliantly located and very easy to find with the instructions provided. Camping pitches were all clearly marked with sufficient space between one another. Owners were extremely lovely and helpful, including providing us with an EHU extension when ours wasn't long enough - thank you! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Excellent site

What a little gem this place is. Perfect stop halfway home from our NC500 trip. Paul was very welcoming and friendly. He's a dog lover so our pooches were most welcome. Being adult only it was clean, quiet and relaxing. The toilets and showers are so nice, better than most hotels! The pub across the road serves great food. Book a table though, extremely popular place.

Lovely friendly campsite

Gorgeous little adults only campsite next to a canal and opposite a pub. The best shower facilities I have ever seen! Only downside for us was the constant noise from the M6, even during the night. Not the fault of the campsite though, which I couldn't fault.

Hi Julie, thank you for staying with us and recommending us on Campsites.co.uk. The background noise of the M6 is something that comes and goes with the weather. Most of the time, it's not there, or is very faint in the background, but if the wind comes from that direction (which isn't often), it's more noticeable. Paul.

Stay at Little Acre Camping

We've had a wonderful stay at Little Acre Camping. Paul (the owner) is a wonderful guy who really tries to make the best of your stay. Everything is very clean. Location is perfect with a pub nearby and a lot of great sights in the area.

weekend stay

campsite was recommended to us, lovely setting , adults only site, very welcoming helpful owners, facilities very clean , great walk along canal , honesty box on the walk route, pub just across road was nice, although gets busy for food. book before going if you want food. definitely recommend and we will be back for another stay.

Amazing site - would like a bit of a dog area but the canal is just outside the gate for walks Will definitely be back

Plus, with having the canal towpath opposite my entrance, it's something that possibly wouldn't see much use. See you next time, Paul.
