Brilliant site

Brill time, definitely recommend.

Pleasant

The campsite grounds were nice with friendly staff and a very nice touch where they had food trucks came on certain days. Lovely to see the farm animals. However, the toilets were small and there was only two shower rooms for the plot where we were staying. The shower wall mount was extremely loose and when both showers and the washing up area was being used, the water pressure was extremely low so very difficult to wash. There was mould within the tiles and there was rubbish on the windowsill from when we first arrived and on the last day we stayed. The wash rooms very dated. We purchased the Wi-Fi for seven days but this kept dropping out and when enquiring about this, they suggested that we logged off and re-purchased and asked for a plot number and never responded to any other emails.

Nice camp - would go again!

Nice setting not far from the town. Pitches have plenty of room and are nicely set out across the site, not regimental straight lines. Toilets/showers very clean. Would hopefully come back again. Enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Hidden gem

Great little campsite. Facilities are little old, but perfectly clean with nice hot showers. On a regular bus route, and a nice walk downhill to the town and stunning beach. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice 2 night stay visiting friends in the area. Good facilities and handy for lovely walks.

Great site

16 amp hook-up, clean site, dog friendly and pitches not too close together. 2 shower and toilet blocks and washing facilities for food dishes and clothes. There was also a friendly warden who can offer advice and help.

Lovely site

This site was lovely for a 3-night stay. There is a bus stop directly outside so it was easy to explore the surrounding areas. There were lots of lovely walks in the area and a nice walk into Perranporth and the beautiful beach! We would definitely recommend this site and would stay again!

Lovely stay with all we needed, location was good except for the walk down to Perranporth due to no pavement and having to use tracks, not good for the old or infirm.

Thank you for the review. Very pleased you had a good stay. For guests who don't want to or would struggle with the walk to and from the beach we are on a main Newquay to Falmouth bus route, so two buses an hour to and from Perranporth. This is a service used by many of our guests. Hope to see you again soon.

Lovely campsite

Loved staying here, was nice & peaceful, calming & relaxed. Owner was very helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again, only 1 mile outside of Perranporth.

Fabulous Site

Pitches are a good size. Not overcrowded. Well worth a visit. Staff were friendly and the site lived up to previous positive reviews. Various food vans visit in the evenings. Would recommend the pizza company, but pre order.

Peace and quiet

Great location, and awesome walks through the dunes. Everything we needed on site, including different food vendors on different evenings. Lovely, helpful staff and above all, peace and quiet. 😎

What a little gem

It was a well-run site with lots of helpful people. We stayed in Willow, which had wonderful sights of the dunes and the sea in the distance. We will definitely stop again and bring the family next time, as there was plenty for the kids to do. We stopped as it was close to our friends, who live in Camborne. We didn't move far from the site, we just chilled as both of us were getting over an illness, so it was just what the doctor ordered.

A nice relaxed site

A lovely relaxed stay at Tollgate Farm. All staff were friendly, a great site with big pitches and nice walks to choose from. My only criticism would be that I felt the toilets/shower blocks weren't cleaned often enough, and due to the site being totally full & jam packed, this did show in the cleanliness of the facilities. Other than that, a lovely place.

4 night stay

What an amazing little find! Just a 15 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute bus back up the hill! Bus stop right outside the gate with buses to Newquay, Falmouth and anywhere in between. We will definitely be back.
