Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2025 Just came back from a 3 night stay at Beltonville (Fri-Mon). I genuinely don't have anything bad to say about this site.
The facilities were clean and well maintained. Toilets and showers were of a great standard. The pitches were well kept. Fantastic views. There was a country music night on the Saturday night which was amazing, they even had a bucking bronco. Fairly priced pints of cold beer. Family friendly site. Close to lots of nice walks including the Monsal trail. Short 15 minute drive into Buxton. We didn't eat there, but the Cow Shed Cafe looked lovely.
Farm shop was nice, a bit pricey if you had forgotten something and needed something desperately. Would definitely return. The only downside was how cold it was in the night but luckily we came prepared for this 🙂
Thank you for a great weekend, my kids had the best time!
Great site Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Great location and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. The café is a must for any stay!
Great views Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Fantastic location with good views if you get a site near the wall and plenty of space for pitching a nice area. Downside was campers where quite noisy even after 10pm, showers where £1 and mens bathrooms where quite basic. The restaurant/bar played music way into the night (past 10).
Definitely not the type of campsite to get in touch with nature, more of a festival type of feel. And cash is needed if you want to shower, watch live music or use one of their bonfires.
Great Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Great family holiday, only issue we had was that only one shower was working, so it was a long wait for the shower.
Fantastic campsite, well recommend Recommends site
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 Fantastic campsite, all off the staff were happy to help, you could tell they all took great pride in their workplace and had a passion.
We stayed for two nights this Easter and the facilities were great, being able to go to the bar and grab a drink and some warm food for a few hours and warm up was a life saver. There was live music in the barn and stone baked pizzas, which were lovely.
There is a farm shop with local produce and some basics. They also had hats which were great quality and very affordable. Loads of beautiful scenery and things to visit in the area, which means for sure we will return to this campsite.
Thank you for a memorable weekend.
Easter weekend Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 The site was very busy, but was expected over the easter weekend.
Only issues we found were that the toilet locks had broken, but they repaired them quickly. The showers are very spacious, and hot, but don't forget £1 coins as they charge per 4 minutes. The Cowshed had fantastic food! The site was very clean!
I'm not sure if it was just where the site is on a hill and an open space, and also the weather in general, but it was very windy where we camped, so it felt very cold if you were outside trying to have a BBQ.
The location is great for traveling around parts of the Peak District and I would stay again.
Fab campsite Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 We love Beltonville Farm campsite. Great location for big walks and the Cowshed is fab for getting out of the cold for a few hours if the weather isn't good.
The food at the cafe is fantastic and we will keep coming back.
Such fun! Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Apr 2025 Had the absolute best time! Did not use much of the facilities as we have everything in our camper, but the place was brilliant, full of great people, brilliant atmosphere.
Had a live band on which added to the fun, beautiful walks. Will be back again.
Lovely campsite, lovely views Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2025 Lovely campsite, would come back! Cafe is lovely and breakfast was perfect.
Facilities were clean, just remember to bring £1 for a shower. Very accommodating when we didn't have enough cash for a deposit!
Lovely site Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Feb 2025 A nice location and very handy having the shop & café on site. I think slightly expensive at £25 per night for a small tent pitch with no hookup.
However, would still recommend!
An amazing site Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Feb 2025 An amazing site, lovely shop and cafe, staff are so welcoming.
The views are beautiful, a lovely wake up call by a cockerel made it more magical. If you are looking to get with nature (but with a bonus of a lovely cafe and shop) it's a great site to stay at. Will definitely go again for sure. Not a problem for my family but do check the season for the showers being open.
Great place, beautiful campsite Recommends site

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2024 Beautiful location. Bit exposed on high field but well worth it for the view. No complaints here though! Loved being among the sheep!
Great accommodations and not far from a pub Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2024 Lovely place with clean facilities. Showers nice and powerful. Farm shop was excellent for food and drink. Friendly staff.

Amazing team Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Aug 2024 I booked an overnight trip with my 9 year old and myself to test out our new micro camper. Lovely site with great views and great food to accompany.
Unfortunately on our way home, just half a mile up the road we had a flat tyre. With it being a bank holiday and no recovery option, we rolled back to the campsite to ask for help/advice.
The team could not have been more helpful and supportive. They found room for us to stay another night, and offered to call help the following morning. True to his word, by 10am and with a lovely cooked breakfast in us, we had a mobile tyre van onsite fixing our van. A massive thank you to the team for their help and compassion.
We will certainly be back.
Lovely campsite Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely family campsite, beautiful surroundings and lovely staff. Great facilities for all.
Nice site but poor facilities Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Aug 2024 Clean site with friendly staff. However, no hot water or water from taps for drinking water. Big queues for showers and toilets.
Far too crowded and not organised Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 We were impressed to begin with, but after the first night, the place was insanely crowded. There was no structure, so people pitched where they found space. The facilities weren't half enough to handle it, the showers were full and all running, so the washing up sinks didn't have water.
There was a freezer in the shop for freezer blocks, but the shop was closed 8pm till 8am. The staff weren't rude but weren't friendly either.
My stay Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Not sure if the website mentions the hill to get up to the campsite? A bit precarious on a motorbike. Apart from that, the staff in the café/bar were fantastic.
Fabulous Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan Pitches Aug 2024 We really enjoyed our stay at Beltonville Farm in our tent and friends in a VW campervan. The view from the High Field was amazing. We also hired a fire pit on the first night, lovely and warm as the sun set.
The facilities were good, although we did not use the showers hence only four stars for the toilets use only. On Saturday there was a great group on. We caught the back end of the show, but they were fantastic.
Dave the owner dealt with disruptive campers swiftly, Would definitely stay again, and would recommend.
Fantastic campsite in a beautiful and ideal location Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2024 Beltonville campsite was excellent! The location was close to the Monsal trail and gave us a great place to base ourselves. The campsite facilities were clean, the staff were helpful and the farm shop was well stocked. It was a calm and quiet place and I would return again.
