Fabulous site!

We had been on the road and randomly found this site online! We booked and turned up within an hour. We were lucky enough to get the last bay! The facilities are fantastic. We brought our kayak and it was only a short walk down to the water. We ate at the restaurant on site and the food was delicious. The toilets/showers were very clean and modern. It was a great night stop over and will be coming back for longer next time!

Very nice place to visit

Lots of places to visit and things to do out and around the area. The site itself is very well looked after and super clean.

fabulous site

a lovely campsite set in a lovely location. shower blocks were kept clean, and showers were lovely and hot. enough toilets for the motorhome site. shop on site, staff were lovely and very helpful. beautiful Loch, overlooking mountains, stunning view, kids paddled and had a great time. fantastic childrens park, all very new or very well looked after. felt like a safe park wher kids could make friends and play nicely. fantastic woodland walk down to see the seals. would 100% recommend and definitely return. my favourite site or our tour.

First time users

First time at Rosneath Castle caravan site. Very impressed indeed. The toilet/shower block is easily the cleanest and most welcoming that I have used. Good food available. Bar was lovely. Can't control the weather! Thank you.

Lovely location

Beautiful site in a nice quiet location. Facilities are immaculate. Lovely pub restaurant onsite also a brilliant playground and soft play to keep the kids entertained. Only thing I would suggest is a blind on the bathroom door windows as these can be quite see through when it's dark outside.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. In relation to the bathroom doors, these were newly installed and changed and we had an appointment booked in for the blinds to be fitted. These are now attached so you will notice a difference straight away if you return to us again

Pleasantly surprised

Great we'll kept campsite, couldn't believe they had a bar also, shower and bathroom excellent.

Lovely site

Doors on the toilet/shower rooms are only frosted glass. Need to be made more private so others can't see in.

Definitely worth the trip

Great campsite for our motorhome. Toilet and shower facilities were best I've seen, very clean and showers were great. Code to enter them was a pain in the bum as didn't always work first time. Bar/restaurant has a dog friendly area and staff were lovely.

Spotless.

The touring part of the site is very new. It's all gravel so no risk of getting stuck in mud. The toilet/shower block is immaculate. There are 4 individual toilet/shower rooms. These are large, clean and heated. The best I've seen in a very long time.The only down side would be that the touring pitches sit beside the main road into the park and this can be quite busy. The main park is huge but it is lovely, with trees and well cared for grassy areas. There is a bar that sells food and does live music. It can be very noisy in the bar area.

You may have seen some new hedging which has been planted along the main fence which will hopefully offer more privacy from the road as you come in. We hope you will return in the near future

Overnight stay Easter time

Great place to stay, possibly a bit tight to book when busy season, not many places to stop in the campervan site. The site was very well maintained and clean. Toilet and shower block was very clean.

Fantastic place and scenery

As you arrive at Roseneath Castle Caravan Park the touring area is on your right hand side and easy to access through the barrier, as you are sent the code once you have booked. The area has been well designed and you have plenty of room to accommodate your motorhome or caravan. There is also space for a car, awning and sitting area. The toilet block is made up of four complete shower rooms. Only thing I found with this was that in the morning they were very busy, due to the site being full and you had to queue for use of the facilities. Also there is no way to tell if they are empty or occupied, maybe you could put a lock that shows occupied or vacant on the door to rectify this. As I'm disabled it would be great if there was a designated disable bathroom on site for the use of disabled people only.
