Stay at the Croft campsite

We are new to camping but really enjoyed our stay campsite is really well kept very clean, Most things you need for camping are already there which is nice, all in all good experience will go again for sure

We picked the perfect campsite

This was our first ever camping experience and we must say we picked the perfect campsite. From the moment we got there the staff were very helpful. The pitches are a really good size, the facilities were very good and clean. We forgot our pump for the air beds and they did all they could to help us and then the following night again they helped us when we had ran out of kindling and firefighters. We will definitely be re booking.

Fabulous family friendly campsite!

We had a fabulous time and can't recommend this campsite more! Easy arrival- lovely little reception with lots of information about the campsite and local area, tea and coffee facilities, juice. Owners are so helpful and knowledgeable! They offer so much- a bbq on Friday nights, freshly cooked croissants each morning, bacon and egg sandwiches on Sundays! Lovely pitch sizes- plenty of space and privacy. Campsite was full but still lovely and quiet and quiet at night! Great facilities for kids- a whole barn full of table tennis, football tables and toys for toddlers, a play park, go-karts, ride ons and a great treasure hunt 2x a week! Very clean facilities- cleaned twice a day! Hot showers! Fire pits available to your pitch! Fridge and freezers for all to use. We will definitely be back- thanks for a great stay!

Great campsite!

Very much enjoyed it here. Maria and Guy, and Julia and Chris were very friendly and helpful. Facilities good and lots for kids to do & plenty of space to run around. The Friday night bbq was delicious with very generous helpings (as much as you want to eat basically!) Suffolk interesting and attractive. We'll stay again - thank you!

Wonderful stay

Visited as a group of 4 families and had a great stay. Couldn't have asked for more of a friendly welcome from Maria and Guy. The barn with table tennis, table top football and go karts were a hit with the children of all ages! Would recommend the croissants and pain au chocolates for breakfast which have been freshly baked overnight. As a group, we have visited many campsites over the years and were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities. Will definitely be returning.

The best campsite that we have visited!

What an amazing stay! We really enjoyed ourselves, the Friday night BBQ was delicious and great value, the breakfast choices were a brilliant touch! My children and I really enjoyed the play barn - table tennis, football tables, Go karts and wall climbing. Plus the hunt the hare trail was fun too. The bathroom and toilets were really clean. The free tea station was a bonus! We also enjoyed the fire pit which we hired. The location was great with lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic family friendly site

We stayed in the camping pod and our children and grandchildren had adjacent pitches with electric and non electric hook ups. Guy and Maria were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The site has everything you could wish for and a lot of lovely extra touches too. We had a great week and highly recommend this place for a multi generational family holiday.

Recommended site, very friendly owners

Excellent site with good facilities and very clean, the owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a quiet, flat pitch, although all the pitches looked equally good. It is quite remote which means it is usually quiet, although unfortunately, some motorcyclists spoil the peace from time to time.

Lovely campsite

Lovely, friendly campsite. Maria and Guy were extremely helpful with advice and support with spare equipment. Pitches were both generous and well laid out. Although not taken advantage off, facilities for children and dogs appeared excellent. We would definitely use again if visiting Suffolk.

Another wonderful stay

Stayed for a second time having been in 2024 and knew we would come back. Again such a welcoming arrival great, the Friday BBQ is a MUST - lovely food and so great not to have to think about it! Pastries for breakfast a lovely touch as is the breakfast bap Sunday breakfast. The on site dog area is really useful as it gives the dogs a much needed free run. Local area lovely, lots of places to visit and Southwold is beautiful with great beaches (the one at the end near the lifeboat station is dog friendly with a handy pay parking facility next to a lovely cafe/restaurant). We will definitely be back again this year.

Excellent peaceful site, ideal base for exploring

Our 2 night stay was very relaxing on this peaceful very well maintained site. Friendly and helpful owners. The facilities were very clean and there was everything needed for a good stay. Generous pitches with plenty of space in each field. We enjoyed playing table tennis in the barn and noted there were toys for anyone with younger campers. The site is ideally located for exploring the area and Suffolk coast.

A gem of a campsite!

The Croft campsite, has lovely flat, spacious pitches. Lots of fun for children, with the play area and barn with ping pong tables. It was very convenient to book in for the BBQ offered on Friday evenings and pastries for the morning! Guy and Maria were friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Fantastic site with brilliant family facilities

The owners of this site were lovely, frequently onsite and have put an enormous amount of effort into making this a fun experience for kids of all ages: adventure playground, a couple of basic peddle karts, games barn with 2 x table tennis tables, 3 x table football and a platform with train-track blocks for little ones. But the owners were conscientious in making sure there weren't screaming kids running wild after 9pm. Other thoughtful touches were a kettle in reception with tea/coffee for when you need caffeine just to find your stove, Friday night BBQ, morning croissants and pains au chocolat baked to order, 3 large fridge freezers. Our teen appreciated free WIFI in reception and the offer to charge phones in their house. The campsite manages to be both compact (so you don't have to walk too far to round your kids up) and spacious: pitches are large and lots of tall hedges for privacy/wind blocking. The loos and showers were all very modern and clean. We were very grateful for the barn and picnic tables to cook on evenings when there was rain: the barn is open on one side so you still have the outdoor feeling. There's a village Co-op & pubs a short drive away and it's half an hour to lots of great places like Southwold pier and Sutton Hoo. We will definitely go back.

Really good campsite

Very good campsite, very clean and well kept. We went with our three children and our boys didn't want to leave the site. There's an activity barn and go carts that kept them entertained. Really good size pitches. Owners were very, very accommodating and easy going. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Very friendly and clean

I love the Croft Campsite. We have visited many times and intend to return. Very clean, extremely friendly and a superb location. The Friday night BBQ is a must. Croft Fest is always in our calendar.

Great site! Lots to do and very helpful owners

A great site, very friendly owners and really well run. Lots to do, including table tennis! The Friday night BBQ was really good. Really clean toilets and great shower facilities (hot and powerful showers!) You can charge your phones, get Wi-Fi in reception and even order croissants for the morning. A great place for a family to go.

Amazing stay

Myself and my 4 year old son stayed here for a week at the end of the summer holidays. The campsite definitely exceeded my expectations. I rented the Canvas Caban, which had everything we needed. We just bought blankets, clothes, torches and food. The facilities were lovely and clean, my son loved the play barn and the play equipment. I found the fridges and freezers very helpful, it saved popping to the shops everyday, and there was always tea and coffee available in reception, which was so handy. I definitely recommend joining in the BBQ on Fridays, and the pastries in the mornings. Guy and Maria, were the perfect hosts. Helpful, and welcoming. I was so worried about my first solo holiday with my son, but we felt safe and welcome the moment we arrived.

Great site and well run

A lovely campsite and well run. The clean toilet and shower block was great. Loved the morning croissants and Friday BBQ's. Each pitch was a good size.

Great stay

Just a short stay of 1 night. Great stay, friendly and helpful owners/staff. Clean showers and toilets. Great play area for children. Cold drinking water on tap. The use of fridge and freezer if needed. Will definitely recommend and definitely stay again myself!
