Set in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, this 5 star, dog friendly park is both enticingly close to beaches along the coastline and the charm of Robin Hood's Bay. A set of excellent hardstandings are available all year round at Middlewood Farm, or you can camp on grass pitches, and glamp in the cosy warmth of a pod with heating, lighting and plenty of other creature comforts.

Lovely site with a helpful friendly lady to greet you, spacious pitches and spotless site. The toilets and showers are nice and warm, a lovely walk to Robin Hood's Bay from the site and only 5 miles drive from Whitby. Loved my holiday here, thank you!

Wonderful stay at Middlewood site. My wife and I stayed here on our holiday and were happy with everything. Perfect spot in amongst Yorkshire's beauty as well as close to the sea. If we needed a site next time we visit Yorkshire, we would be more than happy to stay here again.

Stayed at Middlewood Farm for four nights with my daughters and grandson. Was allocated a pitch next to the play area which, for an old timer like myself, was not what I had hoped for. On returning to reception, we asked if there was another pitch available we could transfer to. I cannot fault the service, they reallocated us to the upper field. The views from here were stunning. The site and facilities on site were clean and spotless. An ideal location to set up a base and explore the surrounding area. We had a great day on the beach at Robin Hood's Bay, a day exploring Whitby and a trip to Dalby forest. We would definitely stay again.

Was our first camping trip away and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The site was clean, tidy and the facilities were better than I expected. There was plenty of hot water, wasn't over crowded and everything was clean. I would definitely like to revisit the campsite again.

Stayed here after first visiting over twenty years ago. The site was great then and is still great! Pitched on the family field which is a short walk to the facilities which were extremely clean. Reception was really helpful and the location cannot be beaten. Short walk to the Robin Hoods Bay which has a few places to eat and great little pubs.

We managed to book this pod last minute for the goth/ steampunk weekend in April. The location was spot on, less than 15 mins from central Whitby. It was easy to find and we were greeted by a helpful lady at reception who explained which was our pod and basic rules of the campsite. On arrival at the pod, it was clean but basic, cosy and it soon warmed up after putting the heater on for 10 mins. The facility block was spotlessly clean also. Was warm and dry with shower cubicles, toilets, sinks and hairdryers if needed. On making the bed up, it was bigger than a king-size and plenty of room. We weren't so lucky with the weather and heavy rainfall all night but lovely and cosy in the pod. Also good how you can park your car right outside the pod, which was helpful in the miserable weather for us to load the car back up. We would definitely recommend to others and is an ideal spot when visiting Whitby again with us having a dog.

After arriving at the site down a tight back road and over a Ford (Google maps is not always right) I checked in and had wonderful service from the gentleman (maybe owner) in reception. Got set up and looked around the site. Shower block very clean and warm given the unseasonably cold weather. Walked down to Robin Hoods Bay in the evening to look at the sea....Hard climb back up from someone who lives in the Fens! Peaceful nights sleep too which is a major plus for me.

What a fantastic site in a superb location. Showers were lovely and warm and hangers for your towel and clothes so they stayed dry. lovely 6mile walk along cliff tops to Whitby or you can go on Cinder Path. Pubs in Robin hoods bay good selection of drinks and a lovely butchers and pub just 1/2 mile away. The pub The FlyingDale Inn does super food and big portions. Loads more to explore definitely going back

From check in to leave everything was great. The washing up area, toiletries and showers are clean and tidy. Our pitch size was perfect for 2 but would likely get a bigger size if there were more of us. From the camp site there are loads on walks with Robin Hoods bay only a short walk away,. Whitby is a short drive or a 13 mile round trip walk but what a fantastic coastline walk it was. Great value for money.

The grass pitches were all waterlogged, so the offer of a hard standing was accepted. Suitable protection under the awning prevented any damage. Great access to Robin Hood's Bay. Bring your wellies.

The site is well positioned with accurate information on walking times to Robin Hood's Bay etc. The shower block whilst clean was on the cold side. You also have to undress then start the shower which is on a 5 min timer. Fair play to safe water but let's keep everyone warm.

Nice little campsite! We stayed overnight as a stop between our trip along the coast. Great location with a lovely off road walk 10 minutes into Robin Hood's Bay. Dog friendly, which is great for us as we have 2. Facilities were clean and all in working order. Site we pitched on was hard standing with electric hook up, great for no mud trailing into our camper 👍🏼

Our first stay in a pod accommodation and it was a great experience. We booked a couple of weeks beforehand for two of us and the dog. We arrived on Saturday at 5pm and checked in with a friendly and informative gent who told us where the pod was and how to get to the pub! The pod was clean and tidy, minimalist as is the style, but no complaints here and nothing missing, broken or worn out. The only comment would be that the decking is slippery when wet, so watch your step. Weather to blame, not the site! The camping field wasn't in use yet and for good reason, it was absolutely sodden. Hopefully it improves before people try and pitch tents on it. The facilities block had toilets, sinks, showers and outside washing up facilities. The block was warm, very clean and all fresh and working as it should. The pod heating worked well enough overnight and we slept well. Packing down in the morning was simple and a simple key drop at reception ended out brief stay. At £66 for the night, it was amazing value and we'll be back, next time with our kids and a couple of pods. Can't wait. Thanks for an excellent stay.

Great stay. Lovely clean site, with very clear instructions for a hassle-free stay. The location was great. There's a pub about a 10 min walk away that does great food. Can't wait to return.
