Haddon Grove Farm Campsite is set on a working dairy farm in the scenic Peak District National Park, just five minutes outside of Bakewell. The site is home to non electric grass and hardstanding pitches, with a separate family field offering play areas and rope swings. I stopped here earlier this year before the new shower and toilet facilities. What an improvement, it made such a difference to our stay! It's a really popular place, with idyllic walks and relaxed setting. We will be back. My only critique is in the summer, the new facilities could probably do with doubling at somewhere else on the sites 5 fields.

We had a lovely stay at Haddon Hall Campsite. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was really friendly and relaxed. It was great to be able to pitch wherever we liked—it gave the whole experience a nice laid-back feel. One of the highlights for us was being able to have a fire pit in the evening. The on-site shop was well stocked with everything you’d need, including fire pits for hire, plenty of logs, and even marshmallows for toasting! The walk straight from the camping field into the nature reserve was absolutely beautiful—such a bonus having direct access. It is quite a steep path though, so something to be aware of if you’ve got mobility issues. Sadly, our trip was cut short due to really high winds, but even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back.

Good site, plenty of fields to choose from, just needs more toilets and showers for the amount people on the site.

First time camping with my partner. This place was perfect. The modern facilities were 5/5 and super clean. Plenty of space and fields to pitch up wherever you like. Owner was extremely friendly & helpful. I would definitely visit again and recommended anyone to go. The value for money is incredible. Pizza & gyro / breakfast vans on site every weekend. This site had everything we needed for a first camping experience.

We stayed Thursday-Tuesday. When we arrived Ed said we could choose anywhere on the grass which had been mowed. We picked the bottom field as the views were beautiful and we have 2 dogs so wanted to be out of the way. Very peaceful and great access to Lathkill dale. Site was busier over the weekend as weather was good but it was all peaceful in the evening. showers and toilets were spotless. We will be back.

Great value, stunning scenery and walks right from the site, not too far to walk to a pub/cafe, not super strict with rules like some campsites I've been to. Pick your own pitch, food trucks on site. What more could you ask for?

Loved the chilled out vibe of this campsite. We booked a last minute grass site, no electric. When we arrived, the friendly person at reception said to just pick a spot. We found a great corner, amazing view, with great neighbours. Lost the child to den making almost immediately. Pizza van was good facilities were new , and clean. Would highly recommend

Fantastic place, great facilities. Always found clean throughout the weekend. Superb location for walks and plenty of options of places to camp on site. Couple of things to mention. The facilities were under a lot of pressure due to it being an exceptionally busy bank holiday weekend causing water pressure issues affecting the showers, etc, but nothing major. The camp shop was only very, very basic with no other shop nearby, perhaps room for improvement there but all in all, due to the extreme amount of people, it still coped well and I for one will be returning another weekend soon.

Our first time staying at the site. We have been to a fair few in the peaks, and it is probably our new favourite. Kids loved the rope swings and paths through the wooded areas. The location was excellent, a 10 min drive to Bakewell and good walks through Lathkill Dale which is right next door. The toilets and shower blocks were brand new, clean and well tended to. Views were great, and the owners were lovely and friendly. We will be returning!

This is a must do site. Everything about it is amazing, from being greeted by Ed at reception to the large expanse of fields available to pitch in. The facilities are new, quite literally spotless and convenient. To cap it all, the location, on the edge of Lathkill Dale, is staggeringly beautiful. We shall return. Thank you.
