Clear filters Peaceful site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 Lovely adult only site. So peaceful. Our first time on this site and we hope to return this summer.
Local pub only 5 minutes walk away sells lovely food with charming service. Beautiful walks from the site.
If you are in a Motorhome and want to use buses they are few and far between. Getting to Highgrove proved interesting, but not impossible, by bus. Local cabs were frankly unwilling and it's only 7 miles up the road. Mentioning this because we chose the site for its proximity as we had garden tour tickets.
This was of course no fault of the site which was perfect for us.

The site is amazing, showers hot and toilets spotless. The fire pit is the icing on the cake.
We will definitely be returning.

Large Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 We stayed at Tobacconist Farm for the first time. Not knowing what to expect, we couldn't have been happier with our stay!
The campsite owner, Lucy, sent a message on the morning providing information about the stay and was available via text to answer any questions we had.
Lucy was so accommodating upon arrival, personally taking us to our pre-designated pitch, giving us additional information about the site and local things to do. This adult-only campsite is lovely, set in a really quiet area, with pleasant views of the campsite and loads of space on each pitch.
Her son comes round in the early evening offering the use of their fire pits and selling firewood, and was extremely polite and friendly. The enclosed dog walking woodland is big enough for our cocker spaniel to run around and do his business and is so handy to have on site!
We will certainly be booking again and cannot recommend this place enough!

Lovely, relaxing campsite outside a beautiful village
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 This is a lovely site just outside of Minchinhampton. It is quiet and well kept by Lucy, who is very easy to be contacted if needs be.
Our pitch had water and electric and nicely placed with good space between the next pitch. The facilities are excellent and very clean.
It is placed just outside of Minchinhampton which is a lovely Cotswold village and is well placed to visit the surrounding villages with lots of walking and cycling along the Canal towpath nearby.
We would definitely recommend this site and hope to return soon.

Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 We said last year we’d be back, and finally we were. The pitches are well spaced out and generous and there are lovely walks direct from the site. Looking forward to the next time!

Facilities are clean and tidy as is the site. Lucy and her team are friendly and helpful. Village pub serves a wonderful Sunday roast!
A really lovely site
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric May 2025 We had a really lovely stay on this beautiful campsite. It's an adult only site and dog friendly which was perfect for us.
It's in a rural location with the pretty little town of Minchinhampton only a few minutes walk away.
The town has a few places to eat and a small but well stocked convenience store. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return very soon.

Very chilled, huge pitches, adult only and very peaceful. Great dog walking area, large fire pits and they sell logs, lovely stay.

Lovely village close by, plenty of lovely walks, very dog friendly. We had a lovely stay with no issues whatsoever, would definitely return to this site, would highly recommend this site.

Great place for a lovely weekend away
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2025 Met by Lucy on arrival who then escorted us to our pitch . She gave us an info pack with what was available in the village and further afield, also had a list of takeaways that would deliver to site if required. She showed us the on site facilities which are immaculate.
Fire pits and benches are available, if one is not nearby you just have to ask and its there. Always about to answer any questions or advise you on anything you need to know. Great location with easy access to Minchinhampton where you can get the bus to places like Stroud, Nailsworth and more .

Mix of motorhomes, caravans & tents some with EHU & water. Showers, kitchen & washing areas spotless. Within walking distance of Minchinhampton.
Lucy was so friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely wooded dog walk area was great, including mess bags! 😃

Great location
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2025 We had a fantastic stay at Tobacconist Farm.
Great location, well spaced out plots and super clean facilities. Lucy the owner is always around to assist or advise and made us feel extremely welcome.
The local pub (Crown) does great beers and food and Amici restaurant is excellent.
I would highly recommend this campsite.
Easy bus ride to Stroud and a nice walk to Nailsworth too.

Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2025 Lucy runs this small, adult only campsite beautifully.
The facilities are excellent and very clean. Short walk into quaint Minchinhampton village, a local pub with excellent food, lovely cafe and great walks across the common with gorgeous views - and more pubs should you fancy them.
Lucy herself is a super organised and very friendly host - highly rated by us. A nice dog walking woodland has been created right next to the site and pleasant valley walks are available if you fancy a change from Minchinhampton Common.
We've been twice and loved it. Will be back!

Lovely, peaceful site
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2025 This is a quiet site, close to the pub, shop and couple of cafes that makes up the heart of Minchinhampton village.
It's a very peaceful site- just a field and amenities block - and that suited us perfectly. Really nice to be able to have a fire each evening - logs can be bought there. Resident donkeys are adorable!
There's a bus stop in the village and buses that go down to Stroud a few times a day. The farmer's market there is well worth visiting. Lucy was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.
Minchinhampton common is beautiful for walks, nearby. Be aware that Minchinhampton, and therefore the site, is above the valley that Stroud sits in so if there's any breeze, you'll feel it!
Our stay
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Apr 2025 Met on arrival by the owner, very pleasant lady who showed us to our pitch, which was slightly sloping, but nothing a set of levellers couldn't sort out. We went about half way up the levellers, so nothing drastic, and the owner even had some we could have borrowed.
Nice spacious pitches, big enough for campervan and awning and even bigger on other of the field. Very close to town centre and the common. You can walk miles, it's a beautiful area to walk and a pub in the middle of the common makes the walk even nicer.
Fantastic site, fantastic area, we will 100% stay here again.

Quite out of the way, very peaceful. Toilets immaculate at all times, even though the site was full. Off lead dog exercise area was a god send.

Large level pitch for our campervan. Quiet, peaceful site. Clean facilities. We had a fabulous walk across Minchinhampton common and back through Amberley, and a great cycle into Nailsworth and along the route 45 cycle route and Cotswolds canal.
Lucy gave us lots of advice about where to go and the site is in an excellent location.
