Fantastic site!

This was our second visit in as many weeks, and it was just as amazing as our first visit. The organisation, cleanliness, facilities and staff are all fantastic! We would like to make special mention of John, one of the night staff, who is very well organised and friendly. An asset to your company. Thanks again, Dave.

Lovely campsite

Lovely, clean campsite. Well organised. Staff welcome you at check-in and are a pleasure to deal with. We had a lovely tent pitch, spacious. Facilities are cleaned regularly. Shop is well stocked and convenient. Easy access to the beach and lovely sighting of the seals. Will definitely return.

Great site, would definitely go back

First time been here, loved it. From the moment we checked in to when we left, the staff are amazing. The on-site shop has everything you need and more, and has very good prices. The pitches are a great size, so you are not all on top of one another. The toilets and showers are very clean. The 2 ladies in the golf cart go around cleaning the toilets/showers throughout the day. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The whole area is extremely clean and looked after. There was a food van, a cocktail/alcohol drinks van and an ice cream van if you don't feel like cooking dinner! The site loves animals, there's a doggy spa, doggy treats outside the shop, and doggy ice cream/yoghurt. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. See you soon!

Fantastic campsite, fantastic location!

This is a fantastic campsite, literally over the grass bank and you are on a beautiful beach! You see the seals only a few metres away. Great variety of food stalls each day.

Tired but due a refurb

Lovely location, just a short, easy walk to the beach over the sand dunes. The park is incredibly tired & well overdue a refurb, which is promised now it is in new hands. The work they have done so far is good. The facilities were spotless throughout our stay despite it being wet. Our pitch was very muddy but the ground is good for awning pegs. We experienced some stormy weather but our awning stayed well pegged down. Overall, a nice location, lots of space, peaceful off season & hopefully will be fantastic when the showers get upgraded.

Our stay

Great campsite. Really really friendly staff, we had a nice relaxing stay and there were nice friendly people to meet on site camping too. Well away from the roads, and very very close to the beach. The only thing I would say is showers need to be changed to turn on and off not press in.

Enjoyable stay

Weekend camping

Great place to stay for the weekend. Good sized level pitches, and good toilets, showers, washing up area, and laundry. Next to a great sandy beach. Friendly staff. However the downside is the site is situated miles from anywhere, and no restaurant/cafe onsite. They do bring vendors in but food on offer was restricted. Toilets and showers could do with modernising. Would stay again but would bring more food to cook ourselves.

Lovely stay

First time camping with my little one, aged 7. Had a great time. Lovely, friendly staff, great atmosphere on the camp. Great freedom, but also feels very safe with regular first-aider security patrols who are not intrusive, just good to know they're there. Facilities very good and dotted about the park for convenience.

Brilliant campsite

We had such an amazing stay, the site itself was just everything we wanted and the beach being so close really made it so. Much more enjoyable to just being able to walk across. The only thing I would say is the showers aren't great. Definitely think it's something they should improve as everything else was perfect . This would really make it better. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning. The staff were so friendly too and the little shop had everything we needed 😀

Lovely time

Great campsite and shop, the location is amazing. The only downside is the shower blocks, which I heard were being upgraded soon.

Great location, bit busy but dog and family friendly.

Lovely camp

What a lovely campsite! Great find right next to the beach. Staff were very helpful, good facilities. Only downside, which did spoil our stay - there is quiet time from 11pm-7am. However, there is no one onsite to enforce this. Every night of our stay people had loud music playing until 4am. I saw security do a drive through at around 9pm but then nothing after that, so no one around to ensure people were sticking to these rules. Camping with 3 children, this then kept them awake which lead to us all not getting a lot of rest! We would love to visit again as time campsite is beautiful, but would be hesitant to because of the noise issue. Parties until late are not ideal!

Loved this location

We loved this location right by the beach with seals, which we saw everyday. Has a park for the kids and the others who stay there are very friendly, so great for families. The shop is basic with not many options but basics are provided, so best to get bits at the local Tesco, which is a short drive. Has showers and toilets but was not that clean but manageable, given you're camping. Great for walks and a visit to the local lighthouse. Security on site was good and quickly dealt with issues. Overall we loved it and will be visiting again,
