Lovely campsite, large open areas and excellent facilities

We booked on the day through Campsites.co.uk as the weather looked perfect this weekend, we received confirmation through very quickly.
The Campsite was HUGE! It was well set back from any roads, therefore peaceful and relaxing. Upon turning up we met the friendly owner who let us know where the facilities where and that we could choose anywhere we fancied on the two large fields. We loved this, as the large site meant we had plenty of space rather than some sites that give very small pitches.
We were also able to drive onto the site and park right next to our tent.
The toilets where clean and tidy, the showers where new and easy to control the temperature system. The site also had phone charging capabilities, local restaurant menus and places to visit as well as bags of logs/kindling at a very reasonable price. We made use of one of the free to use fire pit and a bag of logs!
Over the weekend we visited Wells Next The Sea, only a 15 minute drive away and made use of the beautiful weather.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to return, we highly recommend Barley Fields Camping!
