Set in the seaside town of Fraserburgh, Surfside Caravan Park offers a peaceful base with sea views. Choose from electric hardstanding or grass pitches and enjoy free WiFi, a laundry room and accessible family facilities. Spot seals from your pitch, with fish and chips, Fraserburgh Harbour, the beach for watersports, the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and a leisure centre for swimming, bowling and more all within a ten minute walk!

About the site

This small caravan park sits in Fraserburgh, overlooking its sandy beach, welcoming families, couples and those who want to escape the everyday buzz. There are 20 pitches available for touring caravans and motorhomes, some with hardstanding, and eight grass pitches for tents. There are 12 fully serviced static caravan pitches. In addition, there are two beach huts for hire with stunning sea views, each sleeping up to four. The park is an ideal base for touring the north east corner of Scotland and has visitors from Europe and beyond.

Guests have access to toilets and showers, as well as accessible family rooms with a bath. There is also a laundry area with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Free WiFi is available, and gas can be purchased.

For picking up essentials, Iceland is a ten minute walk away, and Lidl and Tesco are within a 20 minute walk. There are plenty of pubs and eateries surrounding the site, including The Saltoun Inn and The Beach Bar, both within a ten minute walk.

* Entrance gate is locked from 10pm and re-opened at 8am (or by arrangement)

* Dogs must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times.

* Speed is limited to 5mph on the park.

Things to do on site and in the Fraserburgh area

Surfing, windsurfing and other beach activities are available in the area, and there is a childrens' play park at the side of the esplanade.

The golf course is only five minutes drive away and, for sports enthusiasts, there is an all weather football pitch, small park, swimming pool and leisure centre within walking distance. There's a running and cycle track across from the park too. The leisure centre offers ten pin bowling, meals and a bar, and often has entertainment nights.

Fishing is available nearby at Philorth.

In addition to the beach and harbour, other local attractions include:

  • Fraserburgh Lighthouse Museum
  • Fraserburgh Heritage Centre
  • Peterhead Prison Museum

The walking and cycling tracks (cycle hire available locally) along Buchan and Formartine Way are also popular.

You can often see seals, gannets and porpoises right from your pitch!
