Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2024 The site was in a lovely location, however the disabled facilities doubles up as a family bathroom, so as a disabled person, I had to wait while multiple people bathed or showered. I feel that a separate disabled toilet would be an asset to the site.

Lovely site
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 The site was lovely, well maintained for the most part, although there were times where the toilet block was showing usage. There were 3 toilets blocked at one point. Staff were made aware and they got on it immediately, but had to be informed of the issue.
There is a board that shows who is on what pitch. This is updated once a week, so when you leave mid week, your pitch may have someone else on it.

The arrivals board is updated at the start of every week and then daily as and when required, but once guests are pitched up they need not worry should another name appear on the board for their pitch number (this is just the next arrival after they leave).
The x3 gents toilets mentioned are on the same pipework which meant they all became blocked at the same time. As we are a small team of 2 we're not always aware of any problems as we can't be on site 24/7. We welcome guests letting us know of any issues that they may encounter whilst staying with us so that we can do our best to resolve them. Thank you for bringing them to our attention so that we were able to attend (on this occasion it required the attendance of a plumber).

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Lovely clean quiet site, great walks with the dogs to the local village were there is a nice little pub - dogs are welcome. Kim and Neil makes everyone feel very welcome.
Will definitely book again.

Great site - peaceful
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Great site, well maintained and clean. Great location for the rolling hills, beaches beyond, great pub new by 10-15 min walk. Fantastic.

Long weekend away
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2024 Pleasant quiet site with spotless facilities. Set in a walled garden so relatively wind free. Large secure field for letting the dog have a run. Local pub 10 min walk away serving food and cask ales.

Brilliant!
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jun 2024 Great two night stay! Staff were brilliant and knowledgeable! Location great to get around. Slight slope to site but didn't affect set up! Toilets and showers always clean and hot water!!!

Overnight stay
Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2024 Site is perfect well maintained. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Great that they had area for kids to play. Very quiet site, sheltered
Pity there is no TV reception on site, but a long coax cable to the van made it possible to have the TV on. All in all, a great site for couples.

For anyone thinking of booking a stay with us - TV and Wi-Fi can be variable onsite. We also send an email 2 days prior to arrival to say that we provide a TV connection on each pitch (usually picks up 75+ channels) but as the review mentions, guests will need a long length of coax cable to connect the aerial point to their TV.
Great site, good location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2024 Stayed one night at Thorpe Hall as a trial get away in our campervan. The staff are all really friendly, and happy to offer ideas of where to eat etc. The location is easy to find and is close to Bridlington and Flamborough Head, and the facilities are well placed, not far from most pitches and they are well maintained and clean. I've put it on the list to revisit in the future.

Lovely site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Apr 2024 Lovely clean site, good sized pitches and immaculately clean showers and toilets.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Weather wasn't on our side but that is beyond the control of any of us.

Stay at Thorpe Hall
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Mar 2024 A good site and a very good location, with a warm welcome.
The site was very well maintained. The shop had unusual open times, this maybe to do with out of season stay.

You're correct with reference to seasonality as the shop is open longer hours to match demand during our busy weekends/weeks. Outside of this, the shop and office open mostly in the mornings and/or late afternoon as this is when the majority of our guests are on site.
For guests planning a stay with us and wishing to use the shop, please refer to the opening hours which are displayed on the shop door.
Overall, a very pleasant stay
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Mar 2024 We enjoyed staying on the site, it is in lovely surroundings. There is a play area for children. We didn't check local transport to the coast as we have a car. The site would benefit from hard standings and serviced plots.
The approach to the site was very pleasant, you immediately thought this was going to be a pleasant stay. We were met by a gentleman explaining where everything was and sites to view around the local area.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and we will definitely stay there again.

Campervan first venture VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Oct 2023 We arrived late in the dark and pouring rain. The site settling in process was easy and we got parked and sorted really easy. The facilities were really good, warm clean and tidy.

Lovely site
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2023 Just back from our 1st trip out with our recently purchased trailer tent! The site is immaculate and the facilities are clean and spot on.
Pretty location and about 10 mins from Bridlington.
We are already looking forward to our next visit

Immaculate site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2023 Stayed here for a weekend break and it was lovely, quiet, well maintained. Lovely site staff, little shop, in fact - almost perfect.
We were sited in the middle of the walled garden and I'm glad we were, as there was a little road noise from the top of the site, but that was intermittent and not terribly intrusive. As a light sleeper, I'm glad we were a little way into the middle of the site and had no road noise at all.
Well manicured pitches on a slight slope, but everything you could want to hand. Take an arial extension lead as TV reception is poor, but the hook up posts have TV booster sockets. Be prepared to be social media free as the signal is sketchy.
Acres of play area away from pitches. Some nice off site walks if taking doggo's. We had a very peaceful weekend there and are very likely to return!

As you mention, guests do need a long length of good quality coax cable (male/male connections) and can usually pick up around 100 channels (though on occasion, due to things outside of our control e.g. high pressure conditions, this can be variable).

Lovely stay!
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2023 Just stayed here with my little boy. Really lovely campsite. Facilities very clean, showers with great hot water. Little shop on site. Neil took the time to show my little boy some of the wildlife, which he loved. Park facilities good. Very friendly, great organised set up. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, peaceful campsite just a short drive from the beach
