Monkey Tree Holiday Park is perfect for a fun-filled family holiday, just ten minutes outside of Newquay. With one of Cornwall's largest swimming pools, a games arcade, restaurants, free WiFi, adventure golf, live entertainment and much more, there is something to keep everyone busy. Tents and tourers are welcome on grass and hardstanding pitches, some even with private on-pitch bathrooms. Fistral Beach and Perranporth are within 15 minutes too!

About the site

Located between Perranporth and Newquay, this fun-filled holiday park makes for the perfect base in easy reach of the North Cornwall coast. With amazing facilities and entertainment, the site has everything you need for a great getaway, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, multiple play parks, eateries and more! Tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are all welcome on all of the site's pitches. There are 318 electric grass pitches, each measuring approximately 8m x 10m. The electric grass pitches each come with a 16 amp supply and welcome up to eight guests. There is also the option of pitches that are one-third hardstanding and two-thirds grass, perfect for parking your car. Pick between the 25 premium pitches with 16 amp electric, measuring approximately 10m x 12m, or the 21 super pitches which measure 12m x 15m with 16 amp electric, a water point and grey waste disposal. If you want camping with a little bit of luxury, you can opt for pitches with your own ensuite. The 13 super deluxe pitches measure approximately 15m x 12m and come with 16 amp electric, water, drainage supply and gravel parking space, while being enclosed on three sides for extra privacy. Along with this, you will have your own designated bathroom/shower room within a nearby facility block, perfect for those who like their own space. There are then 13 ultra deluxe pitches which have their own private ensuite shower room, undercover alfresco dining area, BBQ, washing up area and gravel parking space all directly on your pitch. Each pitch measures approximately 15m x 12m and comes with a 16 amp electric, water and drainage. If you're looking for a home from home, you'll also find an excellent range of holiday homes to suit all tastes and budgets at the park. BBQs raised off the ground are permitted, but open fires and fire pits are not. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. Please note that the following breeds will not be allowed anywhere in the park: American Pitbulls, Dogo Argentinos, Fila Brasileiros, Japanese Tosas and XL Bullies. All Bull Terrier and Mastiff breeds must be muzzled while in the park, including cross breeds. Please also note that photographic ID with proof of address, such as a driver's license, must be provided by the lead guest on arrival. Facility opening times may also vary outside of peak season.

There are nine facility blocks spread across the park, all with toilets, showers and washing up areas. There is also a laundry room and disabled bathrooms in three of the facility blocks. The Food To Go Outlet serves pasties, pizzas and more. There is a licensed supermarket selling all of the essentials.

Free WiFi is available across the site. There is a cash point if you require, and a year round security team is on hand too.

Palm Bay has a large solar heated outdoor swimming pool (heated to a minimum of 26 degrees), with a beach bar with a terrace, family changing rooms, a boardable pirate ship and a jacuzzi. There is also a pirate adventure golf, multiple outdoor play parks, an arcade, an indoor soft play house and a fun kids' club.

For food and drink, there is The Beach Club, which serves breakfast, light bites, main meals and a full drinks menu, with entertainment in the Summer months.

Chips Ahoy! serves takeaway food, including burgers. You can also enjoy your food and drink at the Summer Nights Bar, where, in the peak months, there is early evening entertainment. Riccardo's Pizza also offers takeaway. Opening hours may vary, especially outside of peak season.

A local bus service operates hourly and runs services to Newquay, Perranporth and Truro, with the bus stop only a half mile from the site.

Our aim here is to provide families with a chance to make lifelong memories. With plenty of entertainment, onsite activities and of course a large swimming pool this is the ideal place for families to get away from daily life and find the chance to connect with one another.

Stayed here, mini golf course is not included in price, site food is very expensive and the toilet shower block where our pitch was close to was very run down and old. It was an ok experience but wouldn't return.

We loved our stay at monkey tree and are looking to book next year. The site is so clean throughout and anything needed staff are happy to help. Monkey tree had loads for kids to do, which meant that when we had days in the site our 6 year old was still busy having fun. Monkey tree is a short driving distance to lots of different locations and shops.

Yes, Monkey Tree Holiday Park is dog-friendly, allowing up to two dogs per pitch. Please note they must be kept under the control of a responsible adult and be on a lead at all times. Palm Bay features a leisure pool, two beach entry zones, a beach bar, family changing rooms and facilities. The pool also features a boardable pirate ship, multiple water features and a jacuzzi area where guests of all ages can laugh it up all day long. The outdoor swimming pool is heated to 26 degrees. The pool rules do apply.

Remote control cars and boats are an absolute favourite with children and adults alike, providing hours of entertainment!
