Pitches are well laid out with generous space between each unit. The reception and small shop were well stocked.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The facilities was like you were staying in a five star spa the showers, toilets, washing facilities, shop and outside space has been really thought about to every detail.
Whoever designed this site done really well I was very impressed and would highly recommend.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 On our way from the North coast and Orkney. Great place to stop on the way down after the Scrabster ferry and seeing John O' Groats etc. very convenient. Friendly staff, attractive site, modern and clean facilities.

The entrance for tall motorhomes looks daunting but is in fact, no problem.

Wick is a terrific example of community spirit. Those on the NC500 should stay more than a night. Stop and smell the roses.

Beautiful site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 Wick River Campsite was one of the best we stayed at while touring the NC500 in a motor home. The facilities were excellent, really fresh, clean and well appointed. Access to the site was easy, especially as we had a unit taller than was able to access from the main entrance. The proactive text with link to where the alternative entrance helped reassure us we were accessing from the right point.
Incredible site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 This was our first night on the NC500 and the site is amazing! Very very clean and modern. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and super friendly. We will be recommending to people who go on
To do the NC500 and we will stay again if we ever do it again.
