Amazing!

Really lovely campsite with all the facilities you need. We stayed in the bell tent and the tent was really clean and a nice size with really comfy beds and lights/fire pit/bench etc…. Also not far at all from the toilet and shower facilities. When we stayed we got stuck in Storm Dave and Matt and his son were quick to come down and check on us and ensuring the tent was all secure and ok in the extreme winds. We felt very looked after, would really recommend. Location is also great, close to shops and a pub and super close to Snowdon if you are looking to make the climb !! They even gave us wood for a fire pit! Would definitely go again if I was in the area.

Excellent stay

Second time we have stayed at this site now, always really enjoy ourselves, it is a lovely site with no faults at all. Clean facilities, spacious pitches, very accommodating, great staff, clean and tidy pitches. Walking distance to shops, as well as the lake and town being just a 10minute drive away! Will definitely be booking again in the summer hopefully.

Lovely quiet well kept site

This was our first stay at Twll Y Clawdd, the site looks brand new, well kept with modern clean facilities. The owners were friendly and very accommodating when we asked to add an extra night. Would definatley recommend and would return.

Welsh vacation

The campsite was in the perfect location for our family holiday. A short drive to Snowdon, Zip world and overseas the bridge to Anglesey. The facilities were extremely clean and well maintained, and the owners were very helpful and friendly.

Definitely stay there again

I've stayed here once before… hence my return. Staff are welcoming and the place is immaculate. Very peaceful...would never hesitate to book again.

Nice campsite

Lovely clean campsite…. Toilets and shower cubicles were kept clean and tidy. Nice dog walk area, could be a little bit bigger for dogs and owners to share with other campers. Might not suit people who are night owls and like to stay up passed 10pm for a chat and play board games ect… more for quiet campers.

Review of site and facilities

The site was very clean to a high standard including toilets and showers, they were cleaned several times per day. The grounds are well maintained. The weather was wet so we left two nights early. Unfortunately, our stay wasn't the best due to other campers noise and dogs barking, this was addressed by the owners after complaints from other campers on the site. I would however stay here again, the owners are very helpful and ensured all was well during our stay.

Snowdon visit

Me and my family stayed at this lovely campsite, as we were climbing Snowdon. The service was second to none and the facilities were great. We would recommend this site to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Our family camping trip

We absolutely loved our stay on this campsite! We had 3 pitches for 3 families and the space was amazing! All of the team members on site were very helpful and welcoming and the facilities were spotless! This campsite was in a great location with so much to do close by. Thanks so much for our stay, we will definitely be back!

Lovely stay

Really impressed with the campsite and bonus points for having organised activities for the bank holiday weekend (a dog show and bouncy castle, and BBQ). Only downside was the showers flooding and other users not mopping after themselves, and there was a dog mess on our pitch as we arrived. Friendly hosts, family friendly campsite, and a great weekend.

Hi Bev, I can only apologise for the dog mess that someone had left behind. We thoroughly check the pitches once they are vacated so it's really disappointing that you arrived to such a thing. If you had made us aware we would have cleared it without hesitation, so again I apologise if you felt you had to clean it up yourself. Unfortunately the shower rooms do get wet, especially during the busier periods such as the bank holiday you stayed. We do our best to keep on top of it but will definitely try even harder next camping season to avoid this. Sorry if it caused you any inconvenience. Nice set up

Nice set up with caravans and tents. New build showers and toilets for ladies and gents, kept clean. Friendly owner when checking in and son showing us to our pitch.

Perfect stay!

Me and my friends had a lovely stay at the Twll Y Clawdd Park. It was my first camping trip in the camper van. The site was nice and quiet, facilities were clean, showers were decent and the location was good. There is a shop within a 5 minute walk up the road. Close to Llanberis, so took the paddle boards with us. Will definitely be booking again soon :)

Lovely stay

As a family of 4 and 2 dogs we had a lovely stay in our tent, from the moment we arrived the owners were brilliant so friendly and helpful. The pitch was spacious and all the facilities were clean. Over the weekend we were there, there was a big bbq and a dog show which my daughter loved joining in with our dogs. They had a bouncy castle out for the children. Overall a lovely family friendly campsite that we would return to and recommend. Thanks again.

Lovely site

The pitches are big sizes. Lovely & clean site. Came with my sister & our friend & requested to be pitched next to each other which was great. Facilities are kept clean. There are only 3 female toilets so was busy during the mornings & evenings - wasn't a huge issue. Other than that out stay was great & would definitely stay here again.

All the essentials you need and nothing you don't - perfect

Everything essential you need on an immaculate site with immaculate washing and toilet facilities. Lady was lovely and helpful. Everything you could ask from a quite camp site in and ideal spot to get to snowdon etc.

Lovely stay

Stayed here for 2 nights, was a lovely stay really enjoyed our camping experience. Facilities are very clean and shops/ beaches are not too far out which is good. We would stay here again.

Amazing

We stopped for just one night as new to trailer tent camping. It was fantastic. They were so accommodating when we had to add a car and daughter (we had planned to leave her at home!). Great facilities on a site small enough that you could use them without queuing. Very helpful to us given we were setting for the first time. Lovely to have Mobile food van and music for the evening. Lovely surprise

Snowdonia camping

We wasn't at the campsite long as arrived later in the day but was a good location for us to get up early and make to Snowdonia and the facilities were clean.

fantastic 5*

What can I say.... what a beautiful well layer out campsite with fantastic facilities. we stayed in the Bell tent for 2 nights such a lovely experience. Tent was great and beds were comfy. We were staying here to climb Mt Snowdon in memory of my brother for loros and the campsite owners sponsored us a generous amount of money which was so kind and thoughtful. Can't wait to return and would highly recommend 👌
