Beautiful and relaxing

The campsite was beautiful, calm, cosy relaxing and convenient. It was close to Tenby (10 min drives) and inside the site had many things to do. You never feel boring. We stayed 2 nights in our own tent in last June and the wether was really nice as well.

Wonderful

We had a lovely experience the staff were excellent and so very helpful. A little bit of a walk from the car park to the pitch however it kept me fit. Would highly recommended for a peaceful break. Many thanks to the staff member who always helped my wife John

Just what you expect from the photos

The whole camping site was very clean, peaceful and beautifully maintained on arrival. The camping spot was very private, a few minute walk to the bathrooms and toilet. Also the wash room for dishes. The spot we stayed in were lit up with family lights and an entire kitchen area for cooking and two benches with a lovely fire pit. They also provided us with a few logs for free to get us started. This was a lovely touch. The other camp sites surrounding us were very quiet. The facilities were incredible, even nicer than you would expect. The price is great for the land that is given. I would definitely stay here again, wish I did stay for longer as I didn’t want to leave. This is a must stay.

Beautiful place

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Pitch was huge and secluded. The weather stayed dry and very sunny throughout our stay. We explored Tenby and Saundersfoot which were both a short drive away. Heatherton was great for the kids and just across the golf course. The undercover eating area was a welcome addition to our tent and was well used, as were the fire pit and bbq. The toilets and showers were clean and ice packs/ freezer space was provided and allocated to our pitch. The wardens were all friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful tranquil camping

What a fantastic find, such a beautiful quiet glamping site, all set out in peaceful trees and meadows with everyone having their own secluded private area. The staff were brilliant and so helpful and friendly, Steve the Ranger was particularly helpful, driving our huge tent on his golf buggy to our pitch, as it was quite a walk from the car. Every day we were able to select a trolley of dry logs for a camp fire, we only needed 3 loads while we were there, so there was more than enough provided. The pitch had a little kitchen hut, with surfaces and a bench table for dining at. The showers were lovely and hot and clean, as were the toilets and the washing up area was supplied with washing up liquid and drying paper and most of the campers kept this nice and clean. We were given a cool box and then our own drawer in the freezer to cycle cool blocks. We enjoyed daily visits from the rabbits and saw loads of birds on the site. Only 15 minutes drive from the picturesque town of Tenby and a half hour drive from Fresh Water West beach, which was well worth a visit. We had a wonderful week and look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend +++

Great base

We had an amazing time and the campsite was everything we hoped for.

Peace and quiet

If you want a nice peaceful site, away from all the hustle and bustle of average campsites, stay here. It was lovely and clean. The shower block was spotless. Being in nature with no loud groups etc was great. I highly recommend and will def be back.

Family camping stay

We stayed at Florence Springs in our tent for the week. The camping pitch was lovely and secluded. It had everything you could need. It was great to have an undercover place to cook and sit especially when it rained. The kids had a fantastic time riding on their bikes and playing in the park! The location is fantastic having Tenby and lots of other local attractions nearby. A big shout out to Stephen, the Warden! He was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him! He's a credit to the site! The kids loved him and looked for him all around the site to speak to him when ever we were going anywhere (sorry Stephen, haha). We will be back to stay another time and have already recommended the site to friends and family

Gorgeous site

What a gorgeous stay at this site, we stayed on a camping pitch that was well equipped and private. The site is pristine, facilities are beautifully done. With a new shower block/toilets/charging facilities at the main site and then compost toilets near the pitch. Our little boy had a blast, with on site games and toys as well as alpacas! Beautiful walk from the parking and blocks to your pitches. Camp fire, wood and BBQ facilities provided. Would absolutely recommend and will be going back again to stay in one of the huts or yurts. Wry, friendly welcome from the team and nothing too much trouble. Very close to local things to do like the zoo, adventure park, Dino world and 5 min drive to Tenby. We had an absolute blast! X

Amazing

My second time staying at Florence Springs. It's easily my favourite campsite. I just love the privacy you have, exceptional facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. I shall be visiting again later in the year. Can't wait to fire up the pit and gaze at the stars. 10/10.

Amazing tent pitch

An extraordinarily wonderful site. The facilities mean taking less, no need for camp chairs or kitchen storage. I thought we'd struggle without electric for the fridge, however the freezer blocks and coolbox provided were more than sufficient. The campfire and generous provision of wood along with the electric charge point make this a truly value-for-money site. It's a little trek to the shower block and reloading the car, but well worth it for the fantastic pitch. Lots to do for the children and a safe site to explore. This pitch really caters for all campers and nature-lovers. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully maintained site

Great location, plenty of showers and toilets, and the plots were really secluded. The shelters provided were perfect for bad weather protection and benches and fire pits were great for clear, dry nights for star-gazing. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing stripped back camping

Overall, we had a brilliant stay at Florence Springs. The guys were there on hand to help with luggage and extremely helpful. The quality of logs supplied are great and it's amazing that they are included in your stay. The pitch we stayed on provided excellent protection from the storms. The shower block was basic and clean water was always hot but not heating and open, so chilly for the little ones to shower. I was surprised the compost toilet worked so well, with no nasty unpleasant smells, but take your own toilet paper as this is not stocked up during your stay. Little phone signal, but can connect to Wi-Fi at the shower block, which is lovely if you want to shut off from the world. There is a lovely little walk to Heatherton Adventure Park but that's it, you can't walk or cycle anywhere without heading on the very busy main road, so make sure you have everything you need as there is no onsite shop and everything is a drive away, nearest supermarket is Tenby. Work on points - camping pitches would benefit from a better outside shelter, such as those with the yurts, the current ones need fixing/upgrading. Playpark for children would be welcomed as lots of small children staying whilst we were there and children would have loved a swing and a slide! The pitches are only just big enough for large tents. We got our Berghaus 6.1 in with some room, but our friends' 6XL didn't fit in the space and had to peg into the camp fire area. I felt the photos of the pitches are slightly off as there isn't as much space as we thought.

Beautiful half term break

A lovely half term break with lots of things nearby to enjoy. We also took our Labrador, who thoroughly enjoyed it too.

A peaceful haven

We had a lovely secluded spot for our tent for a long weekend. The set up is lovely. The under cover cooking area is a fantastic idea. If the staff aren't about, they're only a phone call away and are quick to respond to any requirements. The only small negative are the showers. They are push button controlled and don't stay on for very long...but we managed ok. Tenby is only a 10 minute drive away. We will be returning next year for camping.
