Easter stay

Cleanliness above and beyond especially showers and toilets. Helpful staff pitching caravan and setting up especially in bad conditions! Easy to find from main road

Lovely park

Really nice weekend stay, park was lovely and clean as were the facilities. Not too busy as out of season, so plenty of space but I'm sure in the summer it's very close.

Great site, but bad internet

Super site with lots of great facilities. They really must upgrade their internet, however. Other than that, really good.

Thank you for your review. We are very proud of the range of facilities we have here at Trevornick. I am sorry that you had some issues with the internet during your stay. Due to the location of the site, we are in a bit of a signal dead-spot which can make it hard to access the internet. We do have free Wi-Fi on-site for our guests, however, we do not guarantee the availability or speed of this. The best spots on site for Wi-Fi are in the courtyard or in Woody's. We hope to welcome you back to Trevornick again in the future.

Our stay

Great location within walking distance of Holywell Beach. Really good facilities. Disappointed the jacuzzi was broken and the Wi-Fi on the site was practically non existent. Also, I stayed in the Sun Field, which was a bit of a trek to the shower block. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I thought the campsite could have been improved my having a central play park (swings, slide etc). Would come again.

Thank you for your review. I apologise that the Jacuzzi at the swimming pool was broken during your stay, we were awaiting parts for it to be fixed. We offer our Wi-Fi free of charge to our guests as we are not able to guarantee the speed or availability of it. We are looking into improving this service for our guests. Sun field is located close to our bike trail, football golf and forest trail. I hope we can look forward to welcoming you back to Trevornick in the future.

Wonderful place with loads to do

Wonderful place. Loads to do, great for kids & adults. Very picturesque, with a great fishing lake and very clean and well maintained amenities. Top Class Our first time camping ever as a family and the site was more than we could have hoped for. Bit of a dodgy start with a very grumpy attendant showing us to our pitch, but it soon changed. The facilities were excellent, everything extremely well maintained and so much to do on site to keep you entertained with an extremely picturesque setting. A huge thanks to the chap that collected the bins in the cart for going over and above to explain everything & make us feel really welcome. Would certainly recommend & will definitely be back.

Lovely stay

Beautiful park, great location near the beach at Holywell Bay. There is Wi-Fi for guests, but it is not accessible across the park, which made communication hard as there was also no phone signal. Clubhouse not large enough and evening entertainment was not on par with other sites we have stayed at.

Poor facilities

I stayed with my two grandsons and unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. The pool area is chaotic and poorly managed. It seemed like a free for all. Despite signs up saying no diving, bombing etc, it was happening in abundance. There wasn't enough seating for the amount of guests. The Wi-Fi is non existent on our field. Music playing late at night by other campers and dogs were left to bark all night. There were not enough shower facilities for our field. I would not recommend this site and will not visit again. On the plus side, there is a convenient bus stop to take you to Newquay or Truro.

Great stay

Lovely park, kept really clean. All the staff were really nice and a good location. Only extra I would have liked would be somewhere to get a hot breakfast, as the takeaway is not open for breakfast, but this did not spoil our stay. Would definitely return.

I can see you stayed with us from the 28th of August until the 3rd of September, I can confirm the takeaway was open for breakfast from 8am-10am until the 1st of September. Lovely, large site

Lovely site, felt let down buy the toilet blocks. Not enough toilets, poor flush system, so toilets often fully loaded and unable to clear, despite there being lots of attendants. Toilets are way too far away from the top of sun pitch. Very long walk to get to them at any time, but worse in the night. If you had more toilets facilities dotted around or this area (sun field) used for motorhome/caravans with their facilities and the VW/tents closer to the blocks, I think would be better. Other than this, great site, but would recommend picking your pitch for this reason alone. Would be nice to have a child free area. Dogs welcomed and well catered for. The dog walk was lovely. Food and drink vans where great, shop a little sparse unless you want 'Rattler'! Worth a stay, pretty site, but wise to pick your pitch.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you felt our toilet blocks were not good enough. I will pass your comments onto our maintenance team regarding the flush system to see if there is anything they can do. I will also pass your comments onto higher management regarding the availability of toilets close to the sun field. We are a family friendly site and do advertise this, which means we would not want to create any child free areas, as this would exclude families. There are many adult only holiday parks and campsites in Cornwall should you wish to visit somewhere with no children.

Fantastic holiday

The staff on site were very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower block was clean and had everything we needed. Cannot fault the site. Would definitely recommend this site to family and friends. Thank you so much for a great holiday.

Great campsite, lovely family place, lots to do and dog friendly

Lots to do on this campsite, but we still didn't use everything. Loved the fishing lake. All the people who worked there were really friendly and helpful. Pitches were really nice. Loved the music night up on the lawn, that was lovely. Really lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come back here again. Also there is a hire shop where you can hire anything for the time you are there, which was really handy. We used it to hire body boards to go down to the local beach.

Family holiday

Considering the size of the campsite, the cleanliness was really impressive. Showers and toilets were immaculate what ever time of day you went in them. Always hot water available. Great to have food vans and drinks vans each day - the best chicken kebab I have ever tasted. Lattes from the vans were incredible. Only thing that will stop me returning is the cost. Unfortunately, it's not feasible for us to pay this amount again.

Not worth 5 stars

We booked a supreme pitch purposely for the reason of having electric, water, waste water drain, and a TV aerial to hand. Due to the position of these facilities on our pitch, none of our equipment would reach. 10 metre water pipe and a 10 metre waste pipe wouldn't reach to the drain or tap. and neither did our 10 metre tv aerial. Looking at the pitch, the caravan on the right could be close to the facilities but being on the left with an awning, the caravan was too far away from the facilities for anything to reach. We have 4 young children and normally use the family wash facilities but when my wife asked if you had and family wash room the answer was yes, but you have to pay, which we found ridiculous, so we had to split the family and do separate showers in a single shower cubicle which was a struggle with young children. Some of the shower heads where broken and locks were broken on the doors. The Wi-Fi on the site was non-existent and due to running a building company and needing to use my phone on a regular basis to receive calls and emails, I wasn't able to do it. We were very disappointed with the facilities for the money it cost for the pitch.

We have our toilet blocks available for everyone on site free of charge. We do have our family bathroom facilities which allow families with children more space and privacy to be able to have a shower/bath. These do cost an additional fee to ensure that only people with a key can use them. Our Wi-Fi is provided free of charge for our guests , but we do not guarantee the speed or availability. It is something we are looking into upgrading. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

We found no mobile signal or Wi-Fi, otherwise good

No signal and when connecting to Wi-Fi in the area by the bar, it's so slow and unusable. Walk to the beach is 30+mins. Very happy with everything else!

Great campsite

Excellent facilities, lots to do and really good takeaway food options on site in the evenings (not the cheapest though!).

Lovely place

My 2 and a 1/2 year old daughter and I stayed here in June and had a lovely time. The site had everything you need very close by, which was handy. I felt very safe and was able to fully relax and enjoy. Will be returning :)

Great caravan park with great facilities

This was our first camping trip in our camper with our three dogs. The site was very family and dog friendly, with much fun being had within our area of the site. The toilets and wash rooms were very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful and the shop was well stocked. We used the hire shop too where we had great service. The dog walking field was very much loved by our pooches but wouldn't recommend walking to the beach unless you're used to walking as it was up steep sand dunes.

Very good

Great location with fabulous dog walking facilities. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities were extremely clean. One issue was that I wanted to extend my stay, but could only do this by moving pitches. It may be that the pitch itself was booked, but I didn't think this was clearly explained and thought they could have tried to be more accommodating. I would go back to this site.

Thank you for your review. Our housekeeping team work very hard to ensure the toilet blocks are kept clean and tidy. I am sorry you were unable to extend your booking on the same pitch. Because we have our 'pick a pitch' service, where guests can pay an extra fee to stay on a specific pitch of their choosing, this does mean your pitch was unavailable. As our guests will have paid for that specific pitch we are unable to move them onto a different pitch. The reception team would have offered you the option to move to a different pitch so that they could accommodate your request to stay for longer. I apologise if this was not communicated to you clearly. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Excellent value for money

Fantastic site with everything we needed and more. Staff super helpful. Facilities clean and well looked after. Entertainment was great for half term. Pool was warm and clean. Walk to the beach, but a trek through the dunes so wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Just walk the road instead though.

Fun in the sun

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly across the site. It is definitely somewhere we would return to, but maybe at quieter times of the year. Location is perfect for all the beautiful surrounding areas.

Lovely location

Lovely location in Cornwall! Not too far from Newquay & shops! Holywell Bay beach felt like a bit of a trek, but worth it when you get there! Ready tent really good, spacious with everything you need, tent clean when we arrived! However, the showers & toilets left a lot to be desired cleanliness wise. Toilets often didn't flush so waste left in them, sinks blocked with hair, hair in showers & mucky floors. Rude staff also when they're being "cleaned" dog poo over much of the site as well, not much choice in the shop & overpriced. Food truck sold out so had to eat at Woody's as later on in the evening, very expensive for what I felt were microwaved meals! Fat jacks shack was amazing! Pool was nice & good facilities for kids! Very noisy site, we were asked to be quiet after 10pm & weren't being loud at all, yet kids screaming, music still on, shouting & dogs barking well into the early hours! Worth a few days there but couldn't stay longer than that but the location, tent & Fat Jacks were bang on 👍🏼

I am sorry that you had a bad experience with the cleanliness of the toilet block, I know our cleaning team work hard to ensure all the toilet blocks are kept clean and tidy. If you were to report any cleaning or maintenance issues with the toilet blocks to reception, our team would have ensured they were dealt with very quickly. I am sorry that the food truck has sold out, the food trucks are outside companies and we have no control over how much stock they have I am afraid, so when they sell out they will close. I apologise that noise was an issue for you when you were on site, we do have a cut-off at 10pm for excessive noise on site. We do provide all our guests with the security number on their site map as well as the duty manager number, if you had any issues with noise you could have reported it and it would have been dealt with.
