Clear filters Good location for start of NC500 trip
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We stayed here for our first night at the start of our Nc500 trip travelling up the east coast.
We were lucky to get a pitch overlooking the estuary and were treated to a gorgeous sunset from our tent. Near to Loch Ness where we ate however there was a small food truck on site open in the evening and for breakfast.
Clean toilets and showers.

Good park for the kids and nice shoreside location. Breakfast/dinner van on site. Big washing and drying machines. Relatively quiet and very chilled.
Toilet block could have been a bit cleaner.

Cheery welcome to a friendly site, right on the water.
A dog friendly taxi took us into Inverness where there were loads of options for food and drink.
A good site in a convenient location

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Reception and advice on arrival was excellent.
We were told to park absolutely anywhere on any grass available. This wasn't an issue for us as we arrived and there was plenty space. Issues arose later in the evening when others arrived looking for a space and it got very 'higgelty piggity' (basically a free for all).
Motorbikes came in late at night and were riding around trying to find a spot. Showers were hot and decent. Toilets could have had brushes to try to keep them clean as some of the bowls were disgusting.
Excellent location but feel just needs to be better managed.
Lovely seaside location
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This campsite has a lovely position by Beauly Firth. The facilities are quite old but clean and tidy.
The facilities are also spread around the site rather than grouped in one place.
Staff were very helpful when we needed things or had a question. Frustrating thing is that pitches are not assigned, so we had to find a different position each evening when we returned in the campervan.

Plenty of toilets and showers with hot water a plenty. The catering van was great.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Had a lovely visit.
We got to choose our own pitch which was lovely. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Plus point is the burger truck which opens 3 hrs in the morning and again in the evening. So nice to be situated on the shoreline.
We will be back!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 The food truck was not expensive and toilet bock was clean and tidy. The shower bock was clean and tidy and you didn't have to wait for hot water to come through.
The views were nice as well.

Beautiful views, gardens, own kids play area, sand pit, garden gym, laundry, clean refurbished bathrooms, toilet, plenty of hot water, very close to road, with bus stop. Perfect for night caravan stop-overs, dog friendly, or pensioners' hideout. Friendly staff. Onsite shop and canteen. Onsite forest. Onsite telescope. Stroll to beautiful Bunchrew hotel.

It's was really busy due to bank holiday but still managed to find a nice private spot.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Lovely site. Welcomed by Sam in reception who explained all site facilities and layout, and gave us some history about the site itself, very informative.
We were self-contained and didn't need any electric, so were allowed to pitch anywhere, which we chose to do by the water and stream.
Amazing views! The dogs loved the surrounding trees, water and beach at low tide, as did we.
Showers and toilets immaculate and plentiful.
Chemical disposal point, drinking water and pot washing points as well. Also, a little shop within reception with various bits and information leaflets about surrounding area and trips.
Had a quiet weekend here to chill and regenerate before the next bit of our tour.
We will come back here again later in the year and use it as a base to explore Inverness and the surrounding area.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 We absolutely loved staying here, so much so we booked 2 extra nights!
The staff are really friendly and accommodating, the toilets are really clean and although the showers look a little old fashioned they are amazing, the water is the perfect temperature and the showers are powerful. We really enjoyed chatting with the takeaway guy while he cooked our breakfast. This site has a real community feel to it and I'd definitely recommend it.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Very welcoming site with relaxed feel. Facilities are adequate and clean but a bit aged and cramped (although showers were good).
Lovely views over the water but not too much opportunity for walking. Would definitely use again.
