Clear filters Very nice site Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 The site & the facilities were extremely well kept. The staff couldn't have been more helpful & made us feel very welcome.
The pitches were very generous & there was lots of choice, they were also level, which made pitching easy.
A note of caution if you have an EV, while we were there we were unable to get the on site chargers to work - you also have to download an app on which you need to add money in order to charge your vehicle.
During our stay, there was some kind of music festival very close to the site which was so loud on Friday to Sunday night & went on until after midnight all 3 nights. It would have been good had we been warned about this at booking so we could have decided whether we wanted to continue with the booking or not. As we had our young granddaughter staying with us, we probably would not have booked if we'd been warned of this at the time of our booking.
As the site is not always attended by staff, there were some people who took advantage of this and had their music loud enough that most of the site could hear it, this also went on beyond the quiet time of 11:00 pm. It spoiled the quiet of the evenings we had experienced before their arrival and had there been staff on site, they could have taken care of this.
The internet package is probably not worth having, we got a week's access for our son & it dropped out so much, it felt like it was a waste of money. We know not everyone wants internet while on holiday but we did, we paid for it & it was not worth it!

Lovely campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Wonderful stay. Lovely pitches, great location and very dog friendly, with some lovely dog walks within the campsite.
The grass pitches are a slightly longer walk to the facilities, I would probably book a gravel pitch next time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 This is our second time here. Burton Bradstock is a lovely place and this is a lovely campsite. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely, quiet site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Really nice site, grass nicely mown, showers and toilets very clean. Wardens were regularly seen wiping down outside of the main cleaning time and were always friendly.
The site is lovely and quiet with a good, mown dog walk. Easy walk into Burton Bradstock and easy access onto main roads to explore the Dorset area. We will return.

A great all-rounder
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 The site is very well managed, the wash rooms are cleaned regularly, any noise is stopped at 11pm.
You can easily walk to the beach and Burton Bradstock, there is an Italian restaurant at Bredy Farm 5 mins drive away.. You can't reserve a pitch in advance but if you are in a motorhome, you can borrow a reserved sign and so go out without losing your pitch.
I would return if I'm in the area and I think you can use the facilities at the other sites, which are not far away.

Great for walking, didn't need to use the car
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 We chose this site because there wasn't a lot on it. Our kids do not come away with us anymore, so we don't want to spend our holidays with other people's kids running around our tent!
Location was great. We didn't use our car as the public footpaths took us everywhere we needed. Mainly to the pub and Hive beach.
It was quiet, this could be because it was June. The toilets and showers were kept clean.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Me and my son loved this site. Large pitches, superbly clean showers and toilets and great nature trails. I would highly recommend and will be definitely coming back. Staff very welcoming too.

Lovely camping break at Graston Copse
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Just got home from a 4 night stay with family and our dogs. I have to say this is by far one of the best campsites I have stayed at! Lovely site with beautiful surroundings.
The pitches are a great size (we booked 2 electric). The fields are well kept. There is a dog exercise meadow which is fenced and well maintained. The woodland walk is a great addition and full of wildlife. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The facilities were the cleanest and nicest smelling I have used! Plenty of showers and space.
The only negative (it was hard to think of any) is that the electric pitch field is quite a walk from the toilet block. An additional small toilet for the back electric field would be great but honestly this campsite was so lovely!
We will definitely be staying there again and would highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing break!

Our stay Large Tent - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Is advertised as a quiet campsite, was anything but. It had ravens and crows squawking all day until around 10pm and started back up again around 3.30am. It was very disappointing and I felt I should have been notified.
They also were selling wood/logs in the reception for fire pits, but these was not allowed on site, which seemed like a double standard.
Was disappointed overall.

We allow smokeless firepits raised off the ground.
Nice and quiet Sprinter-Type Campervan - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2024 When I read the listing, I thought it was for a quiet site with starry skies and wildlife. Which is true. But it was also quite a large holiday park with statics... I was a bit shocked.
We were very lucky, we got the lower camping meadow to ourselves and it didn't feel busy at all in our little bit. The dog walking field was greatly appreciated by Albert, and we had a lovely stay. You can walk down to the beach in 35 minutes apparently, although we didn't try it.
Showers were hot, the toilets were spotlessly clean and there was recycling points. We had a lovely couple of nights, but it was a quiet time of year (end of April). Lots of thought for wildlife.

Long weekend in motorhome
Motorhome - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2024 Fabulous campsite with an amazing position. Walkable to an amazing beach. I'm a West Country boy but I've never heard of hive beach. Brilliant, reminded of beaches in Cornwall before they were overrun with second home owners.
The facilities were first class and the maintenance of the grounds was brilliant. Lovely pub in the beautiful village of Burton Bradstock and on a bus route into the equally impressive Bridport.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2024 This is a very nice site run by friendly, helpful people. The site is surrounded by lovely countryside and is very well maintained. The toilet block is the cleanest I have ever seen!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 Lovely place, shame we had rain. Lovely walks, buses run from the village, 20 minute walk.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Gravel Pitches Sep 2023 Had a lovely week, despite the weather Gods not being on our side!
Lovely peaceful site. Facilities are a little dated, but immaculately clean and plenty of hot water.
Would prefer an allocated pitch rather than 'pick your own available', and disappointing that hard standing pitches hadn't been available to book by our daughter, but were empty throughout their trip. The Information Point, with children's games, puzzles etc is a fantastic idea, but an outdoor play area would also be an advantage.
Staff were friendly and helpful, but phone/Wi-Fi is poor even with the purchased code! Weather was exceptionally bad for part of our stay and some of the roads got a little muddy, but at the end of the day, we've had a good week away and would definitely go again.

Excellent site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We came in our motorhome with our 2 dogs and found the facilities for ourselves and our dogs superb. The facilities, walks and information centre were 1st class. If there is anything negative, the Internet was buffering a lot, but there was football and rugby on at the time.

Quiet little gem
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A lovely little campsite in the heart of the Dorset countryside. 30 min walk to Hive beach and 15 min walk to Burton Bradstock's two local pubs. Good size pitches with all the facilities you need on the site.

Family fun
Large Tent - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 The park was very well maintained and quiet, we had an enjoyable walk to Hive beach.
The showers were always hot, not very keen on the button operation of the shower with small children (stops too soon).
Loved hearing the owls and seeing glow worms in the woods.
