Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2026

We were attracted to this site due to having no dogs and strict rules around group bookings and overall, seemed to suit the quiet retreat rather than the asbo campsite's we have stumbled across. But there were two large groups, adults and children, larger on our left, smaller group on our right. Both groups had children screaming after 11pm, then the children were put to bed to be replaced by screaming females to our left and loud adults to our right for quite a while after 11am (who had a fire going and moved their car in a way to disguise it, but obviously didn't work). I checked to see if we could have a firepit but the BBQ/firepit ban was still in place so we respected that. So much for a peaceful night. There were lovely staff from arrival to leaving, although other reviews say its basic, its actually all you need. The farm shop had excellent fresh produce which we enjoyed. Clean facilities, good showers and washing up area. There are some great walks and scenery that helps you on your way. Would I return? Yes, (with ear plugs). It would be a good idea for someone from the farm to do the rounds at 11pm. I am not a killjoy but rules are there for a reason, there should be some respect for other people camping in close proximity.

Lovely clean amenities.

My sister and I loved how clean the amenities were. The showers were well designed to keep your clothes dry with great variable temperature and good pressure.

We stayed at Etherley Farm for one night. The site is lovely. Level camping fields, clean and high standard loo and shower block. Very good value for money. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Etherley Farm is a lovely campsite, not far from Leith Hill. Here you can start a bonfire and cook some tasty local products from their shop. There is plenty of space to park, set up your tent and admire their majestic alpaca. They also have showers and toilets. I recommend visiting the tower and booking a table at the Plough Inn for a good Sunday Roast.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Stayed here with a good friend for 3 nights. Clean, warm showers, in individual cubicles. Cheap to camp, the shop sold lots of great essentials. Good location with lots of sights to see locally.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Lovely site and shop onsite was very useful. Only issue I had was a campervan arriving onsite at 10.30pm, very noisy and woke my kids, this is unacceptable. Put us off using the campsite again.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and of them to not be too crowded. The staff working in the little shop were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and went on some walks around Surrey hills. I would highly recommend this campsite if you're looking for a small getaway.

My first time camping. Absolutely loved this place. It has everything I need. The toilets and showers are cleaned. Loved the fact the sink is huge and is outside with lights. The shop is very good with friendly staffs. The pitches are very clean and spacious. 10/10.

Great place to stay, basic but spot on

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Very laid back open field with plenty of space for our kids to play. Clean toilets, warm showers, fire pits around and a great atmosphere around camp in the evenings. Everyone having a great time together and sharing those moments under a starry sky in the countryside. Close to many a things but far enough away to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere! Lovely staff, really cared about their service on the farm. Locally produced meat and cider was ace on the bbq and the shop stocks everything you need from the essentials to things for the kids.
