Bring your tent or campervan and pitch up on one of the non electric grass pitches, each with it's own fire pit for evenings of toasting marshmallows. Set within the High Weald AONB, grab a coffee from the onsite café and enjoy a picturesque walk or pay a visit to nearby Hever Castle.

Expect peace and quiet, nestled within the woodlands of the oldest enclosed Deer Park in England. Located in the glorious Sussex countryside and High Wealds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you will be surrounded by picturesque walking routes along with having easy transport links in to London. The site has a total of 60 non electric grass pitches, each welcoming tents and VW-style campervans. Each pitch also comes with a complimentary fire pit, perfect for evenings under the stars toasting marshmallows. There are even specific adult friendly sections for those wanting some extra quiet. Sit back and relax at your pitch as you admire views of the beautiful Sussex Downs or venture to the onsite Café and enjoy a spot of lunch or dinner. For days out, the Spa Valley Railway is just a ten minute drive away, along with the charming town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Four legged friends can also join you for your stay, just make sure to bring the treats!

Great grass camp surrounded by beautiful woodland. Basic services but clean and well stocked. The site supervisor, Colin, was excellent and very organised. The cafe adjacent to the site is also excellent.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

We had a lovely stay at this campsite, huge pitch, great hot water showers and clean facilities. Fire pit on every pitch with possibility to buy firewood and fire starter at the camping. A lovely cafe on site (not belonging to the camping) but super handy for morning breakfasts and drinks. Colin was super friendly and made our stay that much nicer. The only issue we had was that we didn't realise the site was on Gatwick's plane path, so we got woken up multiple times in the night, but that's not the camp's fault! Would recommend if you don't mind and can sleep with earplugs.
