Motorhome - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 rA lovely little site with amazing views. good sized pitch with EHU and water close by. Quiet after 9.30 on the day we visited.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Great little campsite this! Delightful spot, nice terraced pitches with space and sea views. Not to mention the sun setting over the llama/alpaca (I can't tell the difference) field in the distance! Soothing owls nearby at night. Swallows, martins and kestrels during the day. We had no insect bites! The first time ever while camping!
Excellent recycling, freezer for ice blocks, good washing up facilities and water. Not many showers and toilets, and the water pressure is decidedly weak, and warm rather than hot - but it is a small site, we never had to wait very long, they were clean and convenient and perfectly adequate after a day getting covered in sand. It's not a hotel after all, and it's on a hill! The water has to get there somehow.
Wi-Fi was great as long as you are right next to the shop & facilities (though we were on lower terraces, didn't try higher up the site). So we could check our WhatsApp while we went to the loo or washed up, but not at the tent. Phone signal was virtually zero.
I loved that - although having planned for an 11am departure as per the booking and T's and C's, we didn't see an email from the campsite until just as we left saying we should depart by 10am. Which was the only annoying thing about the whole stay really!
We loved it - and we'll be back, I'm sure!
A great little find

Really welcoming owner. Only put 4 stars for facilities as the water pressure in shower was poor.
Fantastic little site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We absolutely loved our stay at Little Meadow Campsite. The views were amazing with a super friendly owner.
The site was quiet, spacious and clean, we really liked the layout and ample facilities.
My only down fall to the site which is very minor, was the walk to the top of the hill in the rain on arrival to check in because the little shop was closed, (may be difficult for some) but after the steep climb, I was greeted by the lovely owner who warmly welcomed me to her site. We will be back to this great little campsite. Location was spot on too.

I would say that there could be a larger number of bathroom and washing up facilities considering the number of sites on the campsite.
Overall it’s good value for money and a lovely stay.
Ilfracombe stay
VW-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 No Wi-Fi on lower pitches which was annoying, would have been difficult to book attractions. Very few toilets and showers so sometimes had to wait as all three were in use!
Quite an uphill walk to book in as shop is only manned for a couple of hours a day. The view was the best thing about the site.

Medium Tent - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely campsite! Exactly what we wanted. Well maintained. Beautiful sea views, coastal walks nearby. Dog friendly with a great dog field for off lead as well.
We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Definitely impressed!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 My partner and I, along with our small dog, really enjoyed our stay here. It is a really peaceful campsite, with great views.
We were welcomed on arrival, shown to our pitch and kept in the loop of some cool/great places to visit and eat. We only stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed for more. It is tucked away, clean and easily accessible.
We had a short walk through another campsite which we were going to stay at, but I'm glad we didn't - as during our walk, there were too many cars and it was a lot noisier than little meadow. The pub (Sawmill) is a 20 minute walk from the campsite, and the path from the campsite brings you out to the main road.
A nice little bumble down to the pub and along the coastal path (through the other campsite) was good! We'd definitely stay here again!
The facilities were immaculate, staff were knowledgeable and the little shop (even though we didn't use) seemed very convenient. Definitely keep this place in mind if you're looking for cheap but convenient camping near Ilfracombe (5-10 minute drive away).
Room with a view
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Unfortunately, even though we booked two campers for two nights, the clutch went on one of the vans so we had only one van the second night.
I would say the location, friendliness and facilities were brilliant. We chose this site for the quiet policy. Some of the other people didn't respect this unfortunately, but we are quite a way from the owner's farmhouse and unless it was reported, they would never know. Will definitely be back.

Short walk to the bus stop to go off anywhere you like.
Showers could do with a little bit more water pressure other than that it is a nice little site with lovely views straight out to sea with a nice little harbour cafe a short stroll away.
Ideal place to go for a nice relaxing break.

Beautiful setting and views
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 I only have one slight criticism, which is that on the lower pitches the WIFI is not accessible, so try to get a pitch on the higher ground.

A real gem
Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We loved this site. Beautiful aspect, well-arranged small fields, calm atmosphere and on a bus route.
Travelling with a camper we don't rely on facilities and tend to like those campsites that are more natural.
This one ticked all the boxes for us and we will be back again for sure.
