Lovely site

Lovely site, very friendly and helpful owners. Good locations. Extremely clean facilities. Only downside was the site is on a slope.

Fantastic

This site was fantastic. We stayed here with a couple of friends for 3 nights, so that we could paddle board on Lake Bala. Yvonne made us feel so welcome and she couldn't do enough for everyone. From the minute I unzipped my tent she was pottering around cleaning or making sure people were okay. I couldn't have asked for more from our stay at Ty Cerrig. Thank you Yvonne we will definitely be back.

Lovely last minute find for bank holiday

We booked last minute for bank holiday. If you want a fancy site, this is not for you, but if you want to be in nature with fabulous dark skies and surrounded by hills, then book. The site is quiet even though it was busy for the bank holiday, everyone was so respectful and friendly, we never noticed any road noise even though it was just off the A5 (perfect for location!). Yvonne and her partner were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you, she never stopped cleaning and seemed to mop the showers every time someone went in. There are only 2 showers and 2 toilets but didn't really bother us at all, we just timed our shower right and they were cleaner than any facilities I've ever seen on a campsite. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The site is on a slope but again didn't bother us, nothing that a couple of chocs didn't solve. Probably one of our favourites and we've been to a lot of campsites, we will definitely return.

Decent stay

Decent stay with minimum facilities. Grounds are not flat, sloping down.

Good

Brilliant stay. Only downside was that there was no hot water one morning. Fine all other times though!

Glad you enjoyed your time with us, apologies that you had cold shower but sometimes people unfortunately don't understand which way is hot or cold, maybe I should put a note on how to operate showers even though they are very simple to use.

Overnight stay

The bathroom was cleaned daily which was great. The host was so nice she even got her husband to give us hot water for our pot noodles. Plenty of space for the tent too. Only complaint was one group was noisy and was playing music loudly and talking loudly until 3am.

Great site

15 mins from Bala Lake. Very clean, friendly level site. Hot, good showers and toilets, and washing-up area. Nice central base stop off for the Lake Snowdon or the Clywdian range.

Great little spot

Great little spot, got lost at first but we're here now. Lovely people all around, very polite. Got lost, drove past it couple times but were pitched now. Lovely scenery and people are friendly here.

Beautiful working farm with wonderful owners

We stayed here to sail over the bank holiday weekend at Bala lake. This beautiful working family farm has all the basics needed to camp, including lovely, clean showers and toilets. The additional outlets in the ladies' toilets were an added bonus. The view is amazing from the tent looking over the rolling hills. It was lovely and quiet during the night time, despite there being animals on site. Owners were fantastic. We received a welcome text before arriving and were about if needed. Had a lovely chat with them in the morning. Overall, this is a lovely place to camp with local amenities right on the doorstep. Thank you for having us on your farm. We will be sure to return.

Great stay

We stumbled upon this campsite when deciding to make a last minute camping trip. It was absolutely perfect, beautiful scenery, very clean toilets/shower and the owners are really nice. We rented the campfire from the site and used it to roast marshmallows, cook food and warming up of an evening. Very peaceful and tranquil location with lots to do around the area. We will definitely be returning again.

Such a fab little place!

Absolutely fabulous place. We were greeted by the owner who took us to the field, she was so lovely and I wanted to take her back with us! She cleaned the facilities every night and every morning, so I have to say that although a bit run down, they were completely spotless. I never write reviews but this place deserves one. We will be back for sure.

Had a great time

Dill and his wife are fantastic, they looked after us and all the guests amazingly, working morning to late in the evening and nothing was too much to ask. Would I recommend this camp to families and for people needing a break? 100 percent. The facilities are the cleanest of any public facilities I've seen and it was the best 2 nights me and my Mrs have had away! Thankyou again for looking after us, you and your wife are amazing 😄 Mike and Lucy.

Great location, friendly owners and staff, not many tents around so it was very peaceful. Only stayed for one night, basic facilities but everything worked as it should.

Very good, nice atmosphere from hosts

Excellent site in good location to get around Snowdonia, very helpful hosts, facilities clean, but a bit tired as old portacabins, but value for money spot on. Nice views across to the farms and mountains.

Lovely place

Really quiet and clean place and the host was fantastic. They even asked everyone if we wanted anything from kebab shop and went for everyone. Can't fault this place, will definitely return.

Lovely!

Lovely chilled campsite, has all facilities needed (i.e toilets & showers which always have people cleaning them). There's no electric, which is okay for a night or 2 camping. The only downside would be it's a no music campsite, but the views were lovely & places a short drive away for walks and exploring.

Superb

Really amazing camping site. Everything was clean and straightforward. The landowners were extremely friendly and even supplied me with a chair when they saw I had forgotten mine.

Great place to stay

A last minute booking, found this hidden gem. Campsite was clean at all hours, bins emptied regularly, toilet and showers kept clean and presentable. Staff were lovely, very welcoming.
