Large Tent - Grass Pitches With Optional Electric - Cricket GroundMay 2024The site was a little snapshot of childhood heaven. The children made a bunch of friends within hours of arriving and spent the weekend on the river.
We were located in the cricket field where the facilities were pretty grimy and the road noise was noticeable.
The river side field was much quieter and the facilities there much cleaner and more modern.
We would go back if we could guarantee the field we would pitch in.

The introduction was too basic - no document, we never did find the bathroom or if there were laundry facilities, however, the toilets were clean and quite adequate.
A very interesting site with lots of various activities going on - a school, pottery etc. There is a stream with swimming opportunities.
We felt quite safe and folks were around should we have decided to ask for bathroom etc answers.
We were happy to stay as it suited our simple needs (it's a basic site) for a location with no other facilities.
