Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)May 2025

We only stayed 2 nights in a basic pod as a family of 3, but it was brilliant, very clean, roomy and comfortable. The site was quiet, short drives to absolutely amazing beaches, cute little pub with plenty of seating outside on site. Showers could do with temperature controls and longer runs, had to press the button every couple of seconds and was really hot, but there were plenty of them (single and family ones). The pool is perfect for kids as the max depth is 1.2m but it is a bit chilly, says it's heated but it wasn't when we went on the Sunday. The shop closing early I think lets the park down as, after a long day at the beach, there's nowhere to buy food or snacks etc if your an unprepared family with no cooking or cooling facilities. The park itself is clean and maintained well. Another let down was the little food van on site, for a family who had no cooking facilities could have done with breakfast available on site. Apart from that, we had a great time and will definitely return, everyone was really nice and for a basic holiday park it has everything you need, whether you have kids or not, there's plenty of areas to visit and walks with stunning beaches and it's safe for the kids. We would definitely book a pod again but come more prepared next time.
