Fabulous site, tent was great, brilliantly equipped and really clean. Owners were so friendly and helpful, and great with the kids. We loved collecting eggs for breakfast and stroking the horses too! We will definitely be returning with friends to take over both tents!

Five stars for everything! We had an excellent stay at Gravel Pit farm. The Safari tent is clean, comfortable and so well designed, it feels much larger than it is. My two (grown up) children fought over who got to sleep in the cupboard (actually a spacious raised double bed behind doors!). The outside cooking facilities were more than sufficient for a party of six and was easy to set up and clean. The fire pit was also welcome as the nights drew in. We had pouring rain during one of the nights and so got all the lovely experience of sleeping under canvas without any of the worries about leaks and damp clothes. The site is a fifteen minute walk from Marden where there is a fabulous cafe, a well stocked supermarket and at least three pubs. The station is also close. Annabel and Simon are so friendly and welcoming, and Annabel spoiled us with her flapjacks. The chickens also obliged us with warm eggs collected directly from the hen house. I am already considering how soon I can rebook!

Our family had such an adventure staying in the safari tent. It was clean, comfortable and our hosts were so generous with little extras, like home baking and tractor rides for the kids.
