Exceptional Stay!
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2026 Brilliant campsite with excellent facilities. Check in was effortless and the staff working on site are very informative and friendly. Staff are very easy going with where you pitch your tent and advise you where the quiet or busier areas are in the fields. The site overall was very calm and welcoming, staff do walk around at night which makes you feel safe. The onsite food is very tasty and the pricing is reasonable. There is also a decent sized shop with a wide variety of food,drink, gifts and camping equipment. Highlight of my stay had to be the deer just happily grazing near my tent. Well worth the visit. Overall an amazing place to stay and is certainly somewhere i will be returning to!

Great site, well-staffed by knowledgeable, friendly people during opening hours (8:00 - 20:00), excellent communication of general rules/map/check-in procedures prior to arrival, breath-taking scenery, proximity to Fort William and connections to wider Highlands, and an impressive array of supplies and treats available in on-site shop. We stocked up on ice for the coolers twice, and nothing spoiled. They have all the basics and more, plus a take-away chippy (decent food, rather high prices) with picnic tables and huge parasols out front.
There are plenty of fresh water spouts throughout the campsite, super organised waste management facilities, and well-appointed scullery, toileting, shower, and laundry blocks. Lots of helpful signs along the way, and the site itself is immaculate. My young daughter and I felt safe there, and would definitely return if we holiday in the area again.
That said, there was construction in the neighboring field from 7:00 until afternoon, which was noisy and meant that our nearest block of facilities was closed for the duration of our stay; no prior warning of this was given. Access on foot to the next closest block was difficult! We had to ford a small stream and negotiate steep muddy embankments to get from our field to the neighbouring one on the other side, then to the block. A foot bridge would help, here. The alternative would have been to take the long way around on the dirt road, which isn't ideal with a child in tow at dusk.
Also, site rules state that there is to be silence from 23:00 to 7:00; however, some enthusiastic attendees were heard shouting and using foul language well beyond these hours, with no intervention from any staff who may have been on site.
Last area for improvement: the toilet/shower block closes for approx. 3 hours in the afternoon, to allow for cleaning. This was not included in the guidance we received or posted on any signs that I saw. Please warn people in advance of which facilities will be closed when and for long, so that we know to go to an alternative block during said times.
Smashing site with amazing views
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2026 The site, staff and surroundings were all great. A really big thank you to the staff for their help while on site. The facilities are great, a lovely shop and food facilities; the breakfast was lovely and didn't last long! Fort William is close by and offers a nice distraction to get your legs moving if Ben Nevis isn't your thing.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2026 I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness. This is not a reflection on the staff who take care of the site. I witnessed regular cleaning. Obviously some campers think it is okay to leave their beard trimmings in a sink when they could easily take care of it themselves and please don’t leave copious amounts of hair behind after a shower. It’s easier to dispose of it it your own.

Medium Tent - Electric Open Field Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 This is my second trip to Glen Nevis, and again it was a pleasure. The facilities on site are excellent and the site staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had a good pitch with electric hook up, water taps nearby and close enough to the toilets and showers. It was quiet and peaceful, except when the grass cutter was out, you can hear it from one end of the site to the other, (so no option for an old fella to have afternoon nap....LOL).
I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area, it is a great base for visiting Fort William and Fort Augustus as i did
If i had one gripe it would be the patchy connection to the internet, other than that i really enjoyed my stay.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2026 This is an absolutely marvellous site with a stunning backdrop of Ben Nevis and the mountain range.The site is divided in sections separated by hedging by name. We were in Cameron. We had an immaculate shower block and I presume there was a shower block in each section. There was a very well stocked shop. There was an outdoor kitchen which served breakfast and evening meals if you wanted to dine al fresco. About 5 mins walk away there was the Glen Nevis Restaurant which served excellent food. We had a lovely meal served by lovely people. They were so helpful. The site is about 2 miles from Fort William, certainly walkable. I will certainly be coming back here and would recommend it to anyone.

Large Tent - Electric Open Field Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 Me and friends stayed here to complete Ben Nevis and we don't have a bad thing to say about the site. Pitches were well kept, toilets and showers were immaculate and the shop was reasonably priced if you don't want to trek into Fort William.
The staff were all welcoming and we had no bother from other campers. Thanks for the great stay!

Great campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2026 We stayed at this campsite for two nights with our 3 year old. We were camping in a tent for the first time and we had a great time. The site was very well maintained with beautiful flower beds and stunning views. The facilities were very clean and tidy. They had male and female toilets and showers, a laundry room and a scullery. They had a little shop that had everything you could need from food to camping gear. They also had a take away which does fish shop food at night and breakfast rolls in the morning. The children’s play area was great and had a wide range of equipment in it. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help. This was a great space for our first trip I honestly couldn’t fault them. We will definitely be back.
