About the site
If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a relaxing getaway, then this could be an ideal spot. Within a 20 minute drive of Welshpool and Lake Vyrnwy, with convenient access from the A458, you also won't be short of things to do for days out. Located on a 13 acre small holding, the site offers just two hardstanding pitches for campervans only. Measuring 6.6m x 7m, each pitch comes with a neighbouring grassed area with an optional 6 amp hook up. If you're searching for a luxury camping getaway, then opt for a stay in one of the site's two off-grid safari tents. Sleeping up to two, each tent comes kitted out with a proper king size bed and bedding, plus a sheltered outdoor seating area for admiring the views and a cooking/food prep block that can be used for disposable BBQs too. Four glamping pods are also on offer, perfect for an outdoor escape no matter the time of year. Inside, the pods come fully furnished with a double bed, bedding, a smart TV, electric heating and a modern ensuite shower room. For all your cooking needs, there is a kitchenette with an oven, twin hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Outside each of the pods is a private seating area with a chimenea for keeping you warm on cooler nights, or toasting marshmallows. You will even have your own wood-fired hot tub! Due to its remote location, the site benefits from clear dark skies that are great for star gazing, though it does mean you should bring a torch along. Campfires, fire pits and BBQs are welcome too. Please note, this site is pet free.
Camping is available between the 23rd of August and the 30th of September. Glamping is available all year round.
