Goldings is a Certificated Location site and has only 5 pitches available. This gives guests the ultimate camping experience, with plenty of room between caravans to can enjoy the peaceful location and the beautiful countryside. Access to the site is down a private tree-lined driveway and guests have access to the fields and footpaths directly from the site.

About the site

Goldings is the perfect location in Suffolk, in the heart of the countryside with good access to the rest of the county, including the beaches of Southwold, Aldeburgh, Thorpness and Felixstowe. Each pitch on the site has an electric hook up, with water and general rubbish disposal also available. A short walk from the pitches are the modern toilet, shower and laundry room facilities. For guests who want to bring extra visitors, there is also five self catering holiday cottages at Barn Cottages on the site.

Site rules and policies

At Goldings we want everyone to have a great holiday therefore we ask all guests to respect their neighbours whilst on the site and keep noise down to a minimum.

We accept dogs on our site, but all dogs must be keep under control at all times.

Children are welcome, but all children under 12 are to be supervised whilst using the facilities.

Things to do on site and in the Stowmarket area

Suffolk is a great location for walking and cycling, so bring your bikes and hiking boots along and get some local information from the owners who are happy to let you know about the best places to visit.

The town of Woodbridge, on the river Deben, is a great day out as is the market town of Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral, shops and market. West Suffolk has the beautiful towns of Sudbury, Lavenham and Kersey which offer the old beautiful thatched houses of Suffolk.

Suffolk's Heritage Coast is still a place to escape the crowds even on a hot summers day. For those who like to wander along the beaches and footpaths, you can still find your empty beach and perfect picnic spot here!
