Real gem
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 3 Aug 2025 This was such a beautiful place to stay. Excellent location.
Read previous reviews about facilities, but though old style showers … spotlessly clean toilet block. Showers also mean you're not using excessive amounts of water.
Very friendly site. Excellent value for money. Only suggestion would be some sort of draining board in the washing up area.
No space to allow your things to dry, would be helpful.
Will definitely return.
August Bank Holiday Weekend
Aug 2025 We stayed August Bank Holiday weekend for 5 days with our teenage Granddaughter in our campervan.
Likes: Very well kept grass area. Quiet site. Ideal location for kayaking & paddleboard enthusiasts to stay. So close to the beach & cafe - try the Old School Cake, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend the 20 minute walk to The Old Point House Inn - great little pub right on East Angle's waterway. Great food & lovely Sauvignon wine!
Dislikes: No facility to purchase daily provisions such as bread & milk - nearest mini-shop is on another campsite which is a 15 minute walk away towards the other end of the village. Shower blocks clean & maintained well, but, as many have already stated, would benefit from an upgrade to current expectations.
As an interim minimal alteration/suggestion, in the ladies block, please can you: Recycle the 3 coat/clothes hooks in the main aisle (not used), into each shower cubicle - there is nowhere to hang any clothes, towels or toiletries bags out of the wet zone. Offer a small stool or cheap garden chair for each cubicle - for those who may need a seat when dressing/undressing. Replace the very dirty looking & always wet shoe lace/string at the end of each shower chain pull - a looped black cable tie would work better for both holding onto, easier to clean & robust without potentially hitting someone with a replacement such as a wooden pull handle.
Please throw away the decorators chair in the corner of the wash basin room - not fit for any bathroom purpose A mirror per basin for the gents block. Pitch 7 - After several showers the pitch was totally waterlogged & the roadway directly behind it was too. The drain was also blocked, causing more water seeping onto the already saturated ground
Refuse collection is at 6.30am & stopped directly behind us. Grateful for the collection but just an observation for others. Recycling point a positive - but, maybe a sign to request all plastic bottles & tin cans are crushed down prior to being put into the bin - this will prevent the massive overflow we saw on arrival & stop it from blowing across your pretty well maintained site.

Lovely off season, awful during school holidays Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 9 Aug 2025 Basic site in beautiful location adjacent to West Angle Bay. Primitive showers. Clean toilets.
Only sink for laundry and washing up directly adjacent to chemical disposal point! We took hot water back to our van to wash up.
In spring, it was quiet but in August, all of the many static vans on the site seemed to be occupied. Many families appeared to allow their children to 'tun wild' until all hours, so noisy until well after 10pm.
Visitors to the beach seemed to regularly park in the grounds rather than pay the adjacent car parking fees or if the car park was full, so little security. Hence reluctant to leave tables, chairs, etc. outside the van.

Holiday
Twin Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 5 Aug 2025 It was a lovely peaceful, well kept site which was a very short walk to a lovely beach which has a really good cafe on the beach front. The facilities are basic but very clean.
With a few alterations to the shower block it would be a hidden gem.
West Angle Bay
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 7 Jul 2025 My family and I have spent many years enjoying our summer at Angle. Three generations in fact and it is still as beautiful as ever. Such a warm and friendly place. Everything we need is here for a wonderful holiday with the bay, beach, coastal walks and local pubs. Sadly the village shop is missed.
The site is so well run, clean and welcoming! Thank you so much. We will be back!
Pleasant stay in superb location but with ancient facilities
Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 9 Jul 2025 A superb location close to the beach, together with a friendly, helpful and efficient site manager helped to compensate for no EHU and somewhat antiquated facilities. Which were, however, kept very clean each day.
If a battery charging facility was available to reduce the impact of no EHU, we would have stayed for longer.
Loved it, can't wait to come back

The site was very quiet. Wash room basic but very clean and yes you do have to pull a cord to make the shower work but it's lovely hot water so it's fine.
We will certainly go back but not in the school holidays as I imagine it will be very busy.
Near the sea, remote, facilities need an uplift VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 6 Jul 2025 Nice beach just 2 mins walk, with a pub 12 mins walk. Very friendly, they do food although we did not eat there, also dog friendly. The area is generally very quiet.
What lets this site down is the poor antiquated facilities. Old, rusting, you have to continually hold the chain above you head to shower.

Location right on beach. Can't fault it.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 7 Jun 2025 Fab location, everything you need on site. On arrival, unsure if parked in correct place, not sure if too far over to next plot. Would be good to have someone on site to answer queries or the pitch marked out more visually. Fortunately, everyone staying were very friendly and helpful.
Good to see recycling on site. Would definitely love to stay again. It states there are 10 pitches but only 8 are advertised to book. Fabulous campsite.
Very disappointed and left 2 days early VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 4 Jun 2025 We were very disappointed with this site because there was no one to greet us or an onsite reception. We were right next to the bins and the facilities were the worst I've been in.
The toilet and shower cubicles were rusting away and falling apart, you had to hold a lever to keep the water flowing out of the shower. The taps on the sinks turned off as soon as you let go of the plunger (on the ones I used), they are in great need of a full refurbishment.
Unfortunately, you can't see the beach or sea from the pitches. We decided it was not for us and left 2 days earlier.
Clean and well located campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 7 Jun 2025 This was a clean, well-served campsite with excellent facilities.
Toilets and shower block were older but with an extremely high standard of cleanliness; I particularly enjoyed each pitch having its own water supply. The site was very close to the beach and only a 5-10 min walk to the village and pub.
The only two slightly less than 5 star aspects were the power station, which formed a backdrop to the village, emitting a low but very slightly audible roar, but obviously beyond the campsite's control, and the positioning of the bin area, close to the touring sites.
Neither of these would put me off returning and I hope to go back soon. Excellent value for money.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 4 Jun 2025 Excellent site a 2 min walk to a gorgeous beach and a great cafe.
The showers are a bit dated but work well. Toilet and shower block were spotlessly clean, as was the whole site. Nice pub about 15 mins walk but were fully booked for food on the Sunday, so we walked a little further and found a gem of a pub. Great beer and food and very welcoming and friendly staff.
Would highly recommend this caravan site and the whole area.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitch 2 Jun 2025 The only thing to let this site down is the showers, and no washing up area, but cheap to stay.
Nothing on the site except lovely friendly people, wardens are fabulous...place is kept really tidy and loads of bins for recycling and general waste.... we're coming back next year.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitch 5 May 2025 Fabulous location right next to the beach. Great for sunset BBQs and sunset paddle boarding.
Would have stayed 3 nights but couldn't get a pitch for the Saturday night.
The cafe serves till 3pm and does lovely cakes and crab sandwiches.

Stunning location if you're looking for a relaxing break by the sea. You're so close, you can hear the waves hit the beach. Take everything you need as your miles away from any shops. Showers could do with modernising but they are spotlessly clean.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitch 7 May 2025 Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at this lovely little site.
Only 10 touring spots without electric plus a number of statics.
Lovely feel to the site and it's not often I say that!
The location is fabulous right on the Wales coastal path with a fab coffee shop right next door which serves excellent breakfast and a fantastic array of homemade cakes 😍….. can't wait to go back!

Strange not having anybody check you in when you arrive but it works.
Toilet block was clean but could do with an update. Cafe at the end of the site right on the beach served breakfast, meals, tea and coffee with friendly staff.

Only downside was lack of dedicated washing up and laundry facilities and somewhat outdated showers, but at this price who cares? Facilities were clean even though they were antiquated. We showered in our caravan and did our laundry in a bucket!
No doubt the site will be extremely busy in the school holidays when all the static caravans are occupied but in May, it was quiet.
