Set on the peaceful edge of the Norfolk Broads, this is a small, family-run eco campsite offering spacious meadow pitches and cosy glamping in Norfolk, 20 minutes from the Suffolk coast. The site was created to offer a quiet stay surrounded by nature. With just nine large grass pitches and three glamping units, there is plenty of space to relax. Each pitch is generously sized, with an optional 10 amp electric hook-up, and bordered by rewilded meadow to provide privacy. For those looking for glamping in Norfolk, there are three cosy options. The Bumblebee Pod is ideal for a romantic break, complete with a comfortable double bed, kitchenette and dining space. The shepherd's huts, Dragonfly and Foxglove, provide boutique glamping accommodation with outdoor seating, fire pits and private designated shower rooms. The campsite is also well placed for exploring the local area. Visitors can hire a boat in Beccles, spend the day on the beaches of Southwold, or go crabbing in Walberswick, all within easy reach. Those searching for a small campsite in Norfolk near the Broads, or peaceful glamping near the Norfolk and Suffolk border, will find the site is an ideal choice. To help protect the meadow and preserve the natural, car-free feel of the site, vehicles are not permitted on most pitches. Of course, it's all part of the camping experience! The Wildings Elms Meadow asks that BBQs be raised off the ground, and open fires be in raised fire pits. Please ensure that you keep a fire pit 3m from any structures and on top of the slab provided. The site also asks that you be mindful of wind direction and long grass, and put fires out before bed (watering cans are by the shower block). There is a metal bin by the shower block for you to empty ash into. Wood must be purchased onsite.
