About the site
Just ten minutes from Ipswich yet surrounded by pretty Suffolk countryside, this site offers the ideal rural escape for families and couples. Set across four acres, guests can choose from 14 spacious tent pitches, a range of glamping pods, and even a converted Silo! The non electric tent pitches are 6m x 6m set on grass. To maintain the site's peaceful atmosphere, cars are kept off the pitches. For glamping, the Cosier Pod sleeps up to four with a double bed, a sofa bed, and an ensuite bathroom. It is fully equipped with a kitchenette featuring a hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and kitchenware, along with a dining area, TV and underfloor heating. The Cosy Pod also sleeps up to four and includes a double bed, sofa bed and an ensuite bathroom. The larger Cosy Family Pod sleeps up to six guests (maximum four adults), including a double bed, bunk beds, a sofa bed, and an ensuite toilet, but no shower. Both pods have a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle, as well as a Bluetooth radio and underfloor heating. Please bring your own bedding and towels. Those after a more unique stay, opt for the converted ensuite Silo, sleeping two. Set across two floors, downstairs you will find a comfortable living and dining space, a fully equipped kitchenette with an air fryer and microwave, underfloor heating and an ensuite bathroom. A curved staircase leads to the bedroom, complete with a king size bed and Smart TV (bedding provided). Each glamping unit benefits from its own private outdoor space with a picnic bench and fire pits, ideal for relaxing evenings. This is a pet-free stay. BBQs are permitted, provided they are raised off the ground (disposable BBQs are prohibited). Campfires are only allowed in the site's fire pits, and logs or wood must be purchased here.
