Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring PitchesMay 2026

We took our caravan here for our first outing, the park was well spaced out over the fields, you didn’t feel too close to your neighbour. The pond was so lovely to sit at and watch the wildlife with the music in the background and a drink from the bar. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless and very modern. The welcome desk were super helpful. There is a park for kids too. We would happily go back again.

What a lovely site & we lucked out on the weather!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

This was a very last minute booking of just 6 days before after seeing the bank holiday weather forecast and I am so glad we did it! It was my children's first experience of camping although my husband and I had been going for several years before we had them. We felt it was an excellent choice for them both with the onsite playground, lovely open play space, lake where we could watch fish and the fab cafe and food trailers! It made it something extra special and our children have even asked to come back here. The site felt clean and well maintained throughout and the cafe served lovely food and drinks. You do expect some messiness in the toilets but at times I felt that they could have been cleaned more often, particularly on a busy weekend as some people did leave them in a state and, with small children, that can be an extra issue. My only other slight suggestion would be to perhaps have a bit more presence from staff in the evening, especially after the 10pm noise cut off point. It did continue to be very noisy with loud groups of people chatting and shouting for a long time past this. It just made it slightly harder to drift off in a tent with small children, but not the end of the world for a couple of nights!

Nice site but noisy

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesMay 2026

Lovely site with a bar, small fishing pond and some food trucks at the weekend. Nice big field for playing games on too. Let down for us by the cleanliness of the toilet facilities throughout the day and into the evening, but it was extremely busy. Four sinks with mirrors in the ladies was also not enough. The fact it was so busy also meant it was extremely noisy until very late - way after midnight - and then started up again from about 6am so we got very little sleep. Perhaps if we were in another part it would have been different but we were in between two big, noisy groups so that definitely impacted on the enjoyment of our stay.
