Nice site, manage expectations
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2026 The place is overall is really nice, stunning views from all around the site, has the essentials and a little bit more.
Had a highlander burger with chips and both were far better than we imagined it to be.
Main criticism is we didn’t find the toilet/ showers overly clean. The showers we also found to be painfully unpredictable. In the same shower you’d have incredibly hot water, then cold water then lukewarm, all without adjusting the shower. Adjusting only seemed to make it more unpredictable.
Not a criticism but being a ‘wild camping’ site, inevitably the good flat, dry pitches are harder to come by but with a bit of searching we found somewhere acceptable. So manage expectations a little and it’s a lovely base camp to explore Glencoe/ The Highlands.

Beautiful place to stay in Glencoe
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2026 This campsite's in a stunning location, which is perfect if you're staying in Glencoe. It could do with some more facilities, as it's quite a walk from one side of the site to the other if you need to use the toilets or showers and aren't camped next to them. Staff are very friendly and helpful though.
Amazing location
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2026 Stunning location surrounded by mountains with a river running down one side of the site. Facilities were clean and well looked after. Has better phone reception than I get at home! The place was fully booked when I stayed but still had plenty of choice of pitches
There’s a pub a 10 minute walk away that does decent food, has a great beer selection and brilliant views from the beer garden
Perfect weekend camping
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2026 Everything about this site was great, peaceful, clean and tidy, basic rules that promote respect to others camping there and also to nature. Would recommend staying here. We hope to be back here in the near future. Great pub near by, breathtaking scenery and also not far if you want to drive toFort William, ben nevis or if you want to do some trail walks/hiking, a great location.

Really lovely spot, and very helpful owners and staff, love the food and coffee vans
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jun 2026 Beautiful spot, great for walking, lots of space - we had a spot looking straight onto the river with the mountains. No-one feels on top of each other and the owner was so helpful to us when we arrived and when we needed a pump for our blow up bed. The food van is a great idea and again really helpful staff, Im Coeliac and they were so helpful around that.

Roof Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches May 2026 Good campsite, clean facilities, a fair few midges around however, we hired a camp fire for £15 and that kept them away.
Really good set up, large site and doesn't feel cramped, not noisy and everyone else was respectful to other campers too.
Overnight at Red Squirrel

Staff were helpful and accommodating, onsite services were excellent. Especially appreciated the noise cutoff times. Fantastic for the price, would highly recommend.
