Glentress Forest Lodges is a great location for keen mountain bikers, with Edinburgh just 45 minutes away too. Set by 7Stanes mountain bike trails at Glentress Forest, the site is surrounded by scenic paths and countryside, with GoApe, bike hire, a cafe and a restaurant within a five minute walk too. Each of the cosy camping pods sleeps up to five with simple essentials like a fridge, electric and heating. Dogs are welcome too!

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Jul 2026

Myself and my partner booked these lodges as we were going to a concert in Edinburgh and all hotels and other lodges were way out of our price range. We found this and they didn't disappoint! The cost, cleanliness, staff, facilities and all other visitors made the stay one to remember! We had forgotten our camping stove during packing the car but luckily, Glentress Forest Lodges have you covered and have an oven and kitchen facilities available for all to use. We will definitely be returning! The location was amazing, a lovely town nearby and a short drive into Edinburgh. The bike trials were also really cool.

Perfect location for a MTB enthusiast, Close to Golfie trails Innerlichten DH trails and Glentress trails just 50 yards away! Pod we had ( can sleep up to 5 people ) is quite large and comfortable, walking distance to the showers/ toilets , secure bike storage and drying room! Also not far to the shops But pods starting to show signs of aging and probably will need some work! But overall place is amazing and I highly recommend! Definitely will back again!
