An absolutely beautiful site, with plenty of space for privacy and peace. Everything had been very well thought through - the toilets were clean and well kept and cleaned out regularly. There were washing up facilities and running water. Being able to hire a fire pit was such a great touch - we really loved this, it made the whole experience of camping brilliant (toasting marshmallows in front of your tent in a beautiful field - exactly what you want really!). Communication was great and efficient. We can't wait to come back.

Campfire weekends have created a tranquil and beautiful little site with limited but perfect facilities. Everything was cleverly and simply arranged, clean and accessible. Just right if you want to escape with a small tent and no small people.

The hosts were very accommodating and easy to contact. We arrived late and we're not able to meet them on entry, but that was no problem as we could call them and figure out where to set up.

We had a great weekend here surrounded by lovely countryside. Although the site has minimal facilities they were perfect for our needs. The composting toilets were very clean and surprisingly odourless, what a great eco friendly system. The second day we fired up a wood burning stove to heat some water to make up the watering can shower. It worked well. During our stay we visited Eridge Rocks Nature Reserve and Scotney Castle both were lovely. I'm sure we will be back to further explore the area.

So glad you got to enjoy the simple tranquility which we offer here. With only 30 campers as a maximum in a 7 acre field. It's hard not to feel really away from it all here. Glad too that you enjoyed our eco facilities. We look forward to being able to host you again one day. All the best - Campfire Weekends Team.

We really enjoyed our weekend here. We especially enjoyed how peaceful and spread out people were, it felt like we had a field to ourselves. The late checkout was very much appreciated as this is often one of the downsides of most campsites. We'll definitely be back!

Tranquil, spacious site run by a friendly and helpful team. Only allow a low amount of pitches so lots of space around you. Dog friendly. Facilities frequently checked and cleaned.

What a great place to stay if you are looking to relax in some peaceful countryside. The field is very large with ample space around the outside for pitching, and other campers left plenty of space between tents so you almost felt like you had the place to yourself. There are picnic tables dotted around the field which are very handy if you can pitch nearby. We went mid-summer and the grass had been left long in the middle of the field which added some interest and a sense of privacy. The dog had a great time and everyone on site was friendly. Don’t be put off by the compost loos - they are kept very clean and smell better than plenty of “proper” toilet blocks we’ve used! We hired the BBQ/fire pit with logs which was excellent. The BBQs are quite heavy to move around so a tip is to use the wheelbarrows in the car park to get them over to your tent! There is very little shade so if you’re lucky enough to get a hot spell you might want to bring something to create additional shade, or there are some wonderful wooded walks nearby to escape to. Also a few decent (dog friendly) pubs with beer gardens nearby. Highly recommended!

Spent a couple of very pleasant nights at Campfire Weekends. The owners are friendly and they don't overbook it, so you are guaranteed to have a decent amount of space to yourself. It's great that you can have a fire and that they provide wood and firelighters for you on request. There are decent pubs within walking distance and plenty of countryside to explore. I'll be returning soon - highly recommended.

Enjoyed a quiet and peaceful weekend here in June. They have a large field and only a few pitches so you have LOADS of room. I couldn't see anyone else from our pitch, so it felt very private. The site was also unmanned apart from check-in time which added to the sense of seclusion.
