Set by the River Machno, the site has 20 non electric grass pitches for tent campers. Unwind by the fire pit and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. Surrounded by stunning walking routes and countryside, with the river for paddling, this is a haven for outdoor lovers!

Don't have a bad word to say- beautiful location, really close to Betws-y-coed. The couple who run it are lovely and the pizzas were delicious. Unfortunately something came up so we were only able to come for one night - gutted! Really hope they manage to extend their permit so it can be open longer next year!

We had 2 nights here, which we did really enjoy once we were all settled. Due to arriving quite late in the day (because of traffic), all the good spots in the field had been taken already, so we we're left with the bottom of the hill on quite a slant, which was our only issue really! Advise people to get there early for a good spot! :D The onsite wood fired pizzas were lush and the owners/staff were really nice too :) I did struggle slightly with getting into the carpark with it being so muddy and slippery, and on quite a sharp corner - maybe something to look into, but all in all a lovely campsite with beautiful views xx

Great campsite with great views. It is an ideal location for those who enjoy an active holiday with Bala Lake and Snowdonia within close proximity. The owners were attentive and easy to chat with, plus they make great pizzas!

One of the most beautiful places I've stayed. Walking down the road, you feel like you're in the shire. No light pollution makes for great stargazing at night. The site owners are really friendly and welcoming to all their guests. The pizzas are worth going for alone.

Great stay. Loo with a view- basic but amazing. Lovely off-the-grid campsite. Stream was lovely. Lots of sheep & horses in next field. Owners came around to chat- very friendly and helpful. Other than a bit of rain it was amazing. It was our little boys first camping trip and he loved running around the space in the field. Woodfire pizzas were amazing. Would come back!

This stay was exactly what we needed. Breathtaking views away from our busy lives and phones, just quality time together in a lovely place. You can really relax. The couple who run it are lovely and really helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and definitely would stay again ❤️

Expect basic but welcoming. Absolutely stunning scenery. We spent our evening watching the ponies and sheep come in, eating the homemade pizza and watching the sun go to bed. Simply blissful. Owners are super friendly. We stopped at Llangollen on the way and visited Conwy (lovely place!) before we headed home. Convenient location. Dog friendly. No bins but no hardship to clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you.

A great deal. It's a pop-up site and the young couple who own it are only allowed 28 days a year to run it. You can see how people behind desks 100 miles away make it as difficult as possible for those in the countryside to make a living. Great location for Betws-y-Coed and Snowdon. Brilliant pizzas in the night also cooked by the couple. Will stay again.

Beautiful location. Very very peaceful and the owners are lovely. The views are absolutely stunning and listening to the sounds of nature is so relaxing whilst waking up and having a morning stretch. Honestly, if you want peace and quiet you've definitely found it here. The site seems so quiet and off the beaten track and yet there's a village quite nearby that is great for getting some shopping in and other villages not too far away from that. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend a break here to anyone who wants a bit of rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

The site itself is remote, there's a village nearby but it's so quiet and seems so far away from everything. Perfect if you just want to stop and decompress from everyday life. The facilities are very simple. It's exactly how they describe it. Literally off the grid. Dan and his partner and very friendly and helpful and it's clear they absolutely love their land and what they do. The scenery is breathtaking, it's a beautiful spot. The compost toilets are very clean and comfortable too which surprised me! The nearby village is small but lovely and the locals are a friendly bunch. We will definitely return. Brilliant value for money.

First time staying at Cae Llwyd Farm, loved the views, owners were very helpful and friendly. The site was as described on advert, noise was minimal, so much quieter than other places. Definitely would recommend to people, those who want to escape the noise and busyness of daily life.

Lauren and Dan have been absolutely fantastic hosts and couldn't do more for you! Couldn't believe how lovely this campsite was. Rustic and back to nature. Views were lovely and there was a local shop and pub within 5 mins walking distance. Lots of activities within 15/20 mins from the campsite. Dan and Lauren also make their own sausages, which were divine! The pizza they made on-site in their pizza oven were fabulous! I could go on and on but just a fantastic stay all round! Thankyou Dan and Lauren for a wonderful stay!! Megan, Joe, Emma-Lee and Ryan :)
