Great location and a beautiful setting
Glamping Dome - Opal Hyperdome Apr 2025 We had a lovely stay, very peaceful with a beautiful setting. Great facilities with everything you need. Would highly recommend.
Amazing return
Bell Tent - Millook Bell Tent Aug 2023 Another amazing stay (our second) at a very, very special site. We will definitely be back again next year- this time for longer!
What we love about it:
- We have stayed in both Wanson and Millook and both were a fantastic size. This time, we stayed at Milook- it was beautifully fitted out with lovely little touches to create a simple, but welcoming space.
- The private compost low and shower are just beside your yurt/ glamping pod so no need to take a walk through the dark to have a wee. The compost loo is incredibly clean- no smells or flies (as we experienced on another site this year)
-Kitchen is well equipped and is wonderful to warm food while looking through the Perspex screen across the field to the sea.
- Each accommodation unit has its own decking and garden area, with picnic bench and fire area. It was lovely in the evening to light a little fire (logs and one kindling bundle provided, others available at the honesty shack) and toast marshmallows and tell stories.
-The addition of the little play area was a good idea!
- It always feels relaxed, friendly and welcoming here
-It's a small site- about 8 glamping units and 6 tent pitches, so it feels safe and secure and friendly... but all are well spaced and not overlooking one another, so it feels private too.
-The location is great- about 15/20 mins from Bude; 5-10 mins from Co-op and Sandymouth Beach

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Great view and good service, definitely I will recommend.
Downside - well I think it needs a sign where reception are or who to talk to, just when you get in, but otherwise it is a great place.
Yurt-tastic
Yurt - Wanson Nomadic Yurt Aug 2023 Fantastic place, central for our beach days and touring. The Yurt was spacious for the four of us. Lovely site. Nice and clean, amenities were ample, outstanding views and sunsets from our terrace.
Great glamping
Bell Tent - Millook Bell Tent May 2023 Lovely setting and very spacious, comfortable bell tent. The team were very welcoming and everything was as advertised and delivered above expectation. Highly recommended.
Stargazer Dome!
Glamping Dome - Stowe Stargazer Apr 2023 Wonderful stay with the family. Lovely open air and spacious, clean room. The eco toilet in the room was very clean. There are also clean flushing toilets and shower on site if preferred. Thank you Alex and Charlie and the rest of the team for your hospitality. You were great.
What a wonderful stay!
Yurt - Wanson Nomadic Yurt Aug 2022 We had never been glamping before! Or, in fact been on holiday! We were only visiting from Exeter, but it felt like a wonderful change.
Our holiday was amazing and due in large part, to coming back to the site in the evenings. It was magical! Little fairy lights, the gentle hub of the onsite bar (Cornish wine was lovely and it also sold hot drinks in the morning!), soft sunsets over the hills and a huge feeling of space.
I really loved all the finer attentions to detail that the owners had arranged, like little tooth-brushing tablets and branded bamboo toothbrushes. Beautifully, but subtly decorated inside, with great access to electricity and easy lighting, extra blankets (nights are colder, even when it's hot outside) and of course, superb facilities- one of the main reasons we chose the site was to have a private toilet and hot water facilities!
The cooking facilities were fab and we really loved having a private outside space, like our own little garden, with a picnic bench and fire pit, while having the area beyond this for my children to make friends with campers!
Excellent, easily accessible location.
I had a couple of small problems, like not being able to find the cool packs for the cool box, but a quick text and the owner phoned me straight back to help.
Thank you for creating such a magical space for families to refresh, breathe and reconnect! We will be back!
