About the site

Get back to basics at this family friendly, traditional eco campsite. Spend days exploring the coast, with Crackington Beach just a five minute drive away, along with the popular seaside resort of Bude within 20 minutes. There are only ten pitches over two areas, one being larger with seven pitches and focused around a pretty central communal area with tables and seating, the second being tucked behind and overlooking a field often used for sheep and cattle. Pitches measure 8m x 5m and allow up to eight guests. Tents, trailer tents, roof tents and campervans are all welcome! For evenings unwinding under the stars, you will also be treated to your own complimentary fire pit. There is also a communal seating area, perfect for enjoying a picnic or chatting with other campers. If you want to venture off site, there is plenty to do within a short drive. Tintagel Castle and St Nectan's Waterfall are both within 25 minutes, along with a range of family friendly attractions including Bude Sea Pool, Hidden Valley and Trethorne Leisure Park. This rural campsite is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and as there is so little light pollution, so the sky is truly spectacular on a clear night. The campsite is set within the grounds of Trelay Farm which is a 32 acre smallholding run as an intentional community by residents who aim to tread lightly on the land. Canine companions can also join you for your stay, with up to two pups permitted per pitch. The site is also certified with the Greener Camping Club so at least one guest per pitch must be a member, though this can be purchased when you book. It is only £12 for the year and gives access to hundreds of the greenest sites around the country, only one membership needed per pitch. The Greener Camping Club will also plant a tree for every membership purchased.

"A fantastic little campsite - really beautiful with great facilities"

A note from the site themselves...

Our campsite is located on the land of the 32 acre intentional community we live in. Trelay Farm is a community of individuals who share the running of a small holding, grow our own veg and aim to live lightly on the land.

We also absolutely love the area we live in! Sea swimming, surfing, walking the coastal path, local woods and just soaking up the beautiful surroundings feature heavily here! The community grounds are not open to campers, but if you are interested in community living, we can arrange a chat and you can have a look around.
