Busy August weekend

Well run campsite with good facilities.

Our first camping experience

We came with our 2 children for our first time camping. We booked Lanyon as it was close to our friend's house and the facilities looked ideal. Directions were clear and the park is easy to find. Quick and easy self check in and the pitch was well signposted. We had an incredible pitch! It was private and spacious, and we were lucky to have the most lovely neighbours who helped us pitch up in the wind. The swimming pool is so lovely, perfect for my 7 year old to touch the floor but practice some swimming. Lovely and warm too. The park is ideal for all ages, the trampolines were a hit! The games room is a lovely addition to the park and the girls enjoyed winning some 10p's. As a Crohn's sufferer, it was really important for me to have adequate toilet facilities. Lanyon was ideal for this with toilets nearby no matter where you were. In Owl, the was a private shower room with a toilet. We have already priced up a longer stay for next year. I can't wait to be woken up by the moos of the cows. Thank you Lanyon! We will be back.

Camping

Thank you loved the site.

What a let down!

Well laid out site in a scenic, quiet area, but showers kept going cold in the ladies, no heating on in either (reception block) and it was well past its best. Won't be returning.

Great, budget campsite - we had a lovely time.

Great campsite

Great campsite. Kids loved the pool, an easy reach to many attractions and friendly staff. Nothing is to much trouble. Clean and tidy.

Our visit

Nice site. Shower and toilet block small, could improve the size and quality.

Vacation

We had a vacation with our family, we liked it very much, everything was quite calm, clean, the children had fun at the playground and the pool. If necessary, you can buy firewood and order food. In the evening, we lit a fire. It was very nice and we would like to come again. Thank you 😊

Fantastic

Excellent site

Very good site. Very clean. Central to all Cornwall, any issues dealt with very quickly. Stayed on owl gold pitch over bank holiday. Very busy but always clean, cleaners excellent. Would definitely return.

Brilliant place

Brilliant place, amazing campsite. Only one downfall could do with a little shop but everything else was amazing. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Thanks for the great review :) we like to support the independent businesses in our local village which is within walking distance of the park, this is why we choose not to have a shop.

Wonderful first camping trip!

A wonderful stay at Lanyon Holiday Park. Our first camping trip so we didn't know what to expect, but it was fantastic! Very clean and well organised. We will certainly be back.
