Beautiful and very friendly
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 Beautiful campsite, pitches were great and water and hookups were close by. The facilities were very clean and the site manager was so very lovely!
The ice cream man came on site and the street food van visited this weekend. Pub across the road. Short drive to Kendal and Bowness for lovely days out.
All the other campers were really friendly, with plenty of room for the children to play games.
Paul was fabulous and very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We will defo be returning :)

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 Lovely site. Paul is extremely friendly and helpful.
Good sized pitch, ground level with no bumps, an added bonus.
Will certainly be back, especially once new facilities are open.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 First time at Little Acre this weekend and it was 10/10 - the owners are very friendly people, they give great recommendations and the park is immaculate.
Location is a stone's throw away from a lot of lovely places to visit. Having the canal across the road was a great walk (and swim) for the dogs and then to top it off they could be cleaned off in the river just by the site entrance.

Friendly, well maintained caravan and camping site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 A lovely, friendly, well maintained site with good facilities and an additional wash block under construction. The location has good transport links including a reliable bus service into Kendal. The nearby Crooklands Bar/hotel serves food and the famous Lancaster Canal is close by. Overall, highly recommended!!

Excellent site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 Just back from weekend at this site, the best camp site we have stayed on. Peaceful and relaxing, owners very friendly. They had complimentary toiletries and the facilities were cleaned to a high standard. Nice hot showers and also hairdryer in shower room was a bonus. Will be coming back x

Weekend at Little Acre
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 We were a little worried with it being so close to the motorway but need not have worried, it was just a faint background noise definitely hidden by the bird song.
A lovely little campsite, really friendly host with nothing too much trouble. Lovely walk along the canal and the pub just across the road with great food. Some lovely little touches by Susan such as a nail file in the toilets for when you broke a nail putting the tent up, poo bags and dog treats.
We will definitely be back!!

Lovely campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2023 Lovely campsite in an excellent location to explore the Lake District and beyond. The campsite was very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very friendly and seemed happy to help with anything we may need.
A nice touch was the boxes of traditional outdoor games which you can borrow. Facilities are more than sufficient for the price. There is a block with two toilets and a shower next to the campervans and an additional block with one toilet and washing facilities next to the tent pitches. There is currently an additional toilet/shower block being built.
There is a little road noise but this wouldn't stop us returning. Next time we come to the Lake District we will definitely be camping here again.

Fantastic place to stay
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2023 Incredible place to stay, the staff on site was super friendly and informative. The campsite itself was clean and very well maintained. The Wi-Fi was brilliant, we were streaming Netflix in our tent! The toilets and showers were in mint condition and really clean, loved the little glass jars of ear buds, cotton wool etc - it was a nice touch.
Location was fantastic, canal is right next to the campsite so walking our 4 dogs was so enjoyable! Another amazing perk of this place is they accept up to 5 dogs!
The place was opposite a pub/restaurant which we ate at and the food there is incredible. It's that good I'm coming back next Sunday just to eat there again!
I would definitely return here again and recommend to others, couldn't have asked for anything better, thank you very much.
