Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Good campsite, very full, as you'd expect for the time of year. Facilities are good - clean - though perhaps a bit small for the size of campsite - only two sinks for washing up for example. £30 a night is a bit steep for a non-electric pitch. Café is great - good coffee and food, very friendly staff.

Had an absolutely lovely time at Ben Nevis holiday park. We arrived very late as roads were close but checking in went smoothly. It was our first time camping with our children and we will be back asap! x

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

We stayed there in a tent for 5 nights—several families with young children, teenagers, and grown-up kids. The campsite is in a beautiful spot, right on the riverbank and surrounded by mountains. It's also within walking distance of Fort William. The facilities are well-maintained and cleaned several times a day. The children enjoyed the playground, while the teenagers and older kids liked spending time at the on-site café. The nearby waterfalls were beautiful, and while Ben Nevis was a challenging climb not everyone could manage, the town itself has plenty to offer—from shops and restaurants to interesting historic sites. The hand wash in bathroom is something also, it's being made locally.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

The site offered great views of Ben Nevis as advertised. However, upon arrival the whole family felt a little underwhelmed on its location. The website pictures showed a very appealing campsite, but we found this to very misleading. Our hard standing - electric pitch felt more like a parking spot rather than a manicured pitch, which didn't warrant the price tag. Moreover, having free roaming chickens when the site is advertised as dog friendly (at a charge) kept us on our toes. The new shower blocks were adequate and clean, but unfortunately, the 6 sec shower timers are extremely frustrating! Whoever invented such an inconvenience should be punished! We will not be revisiting this site in the future and we find it very hard to recommend.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Lovely clean site. Good location. Only slight negative was the toilets/showers are closed for cleaning from 9-10am. There are other toilets to use but a bit seems a strange time fi4 showers to be closed. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic time camping here for 3 nights - our first proper camping trip. The site was well kept, clean and the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. Beautiful site with amazing views and so close to the river. Definitely be back.

Lovely site with great facilities, which were well maintained. Short drive into Fort William for the start of the Ben Nevis trail. Beautiful river running along the edge of the campsite. Would recommend.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Spacious and clean site. Would benefit from a family shower room as very difficult to shower two small children in a small space when the timer only lasts 8 seconds.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

The main downfall of the site is that the camping area is at the furthest point from the facilities, having young children who need to go to the toilet a lot it wasn't ideal, but other then that it was a lovely stay. Lovely site, not too far from shops, lovely walks nearby, the beach and river right by the site was a massive plus.

We had a great nights stay here. The facilities were all clean and did the job. We loved the chickens roaming around outside our motorhome. It has a stunning backdrop at this site! We loved the onsite pizzeria for dinner.

Location wise, we couldn't fault it, to sleep at the bottom of Ben Nevis is lovely. We arrived quite late in the afternoon and after a long drive, was looking forward to something to eat and a brew, but upon arrival, there was a sign to say the café was shut. Had we had known this, we would have stopped beforehand, so that was a little disappointing. Once we'd set up the van, we walked into Fort William - it a nice walk, took us about 45 minutes. In the morning, we went to use the shower facilities having seen a sign the evening before saying the shower and toilet blocks were shut 9am to10am. I went up at 8.50am and they'd already been closed. Again, another minor disappointment. We headed off without being able to use the facilities. It's a great site, I think we were just a little unfortunate in our timings and it would have been nice to have known prior to arrival the café was closed.

Nice place to stay

Too many chickens running around and making a mess. They're cute until there mess tracks into the motorhome.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Small Electric Hardstanding Pitches (No Awnings)May 2025

This campsite is a great location for exploring Fort William and Glencoe with stunning views of Ben Nevis. We chose this campsite as we needed to do our laundry. Sadly only one out of four washing machines were working so we were fourth in the queue to get our washing done. The Revolution laundry units are operated by an independent operator and to be fair were being fixed on the morning we left the campsite. The loos and showers were always very clean. Two out of eight hot taps did not work in the handwash basins in the lady's loos. There were only two sinks, without taps, for dishwashing - not really enough on this busy site and very wasteful in terms of water use. There was always plenty of hot water. The waste and recycling area was well set up with bins clearly marked.

Great stay, great location

VW-Type Campervan - Small Electric Hardstanding Pitches (No Awnings)May 2025

Lovely park, clean and well situated for Fort William with superb views of Ben Nevis. Cafe is great, however food choice was limited. Showers lovely but not a fan of having to push a button continually. Wi-Fi was good. Would recommend and would stay again although it is on the high side in terms of pricing. Nice park though - location, location, location.
