About the site
Set among 40 acres and surrounded by oak and bluebell woodlands, mountains and glens, this friendly site sits at the edge of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, just off the A81. It's perfect for nature and outdoor lovers, with easy access to National Cycle Route 7, scenic hiking routes at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, and Loch Lomond for watersports. For tourers, there are 41 fully serviced 7m x 7m gravel and hardstanding pitches with a water and 16 amp electric hook up, as well as waste drainage for roof tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes up to 6m. You can also opt for one of the six cosy camping pods, three of which are dog friendly. Each includes a double bed, single bed, fridge, kettle, electric heating, gas and electricity, along with an outdoor picnic bench. Please be sure to bring everything you would normally bring camping, minus the tent! A selection of luxury lodges and static caravans are available too. Onsite, there's a handy, well-stocked shop for everyday essentials, as well as an outdoor playground for kids to enjoy. Beyond the site, you are well placed for trips to Glasgow and Stirling, both around a 30 minute drive, along with local distilleries such as Glengoyne Distillery within 15 minutes. Up to two pups are welcome onsite, so your furry friend can join the adventure. There are also several dog-friendly walking routes accessed directly from the site. Raised BBQs are permitted onsite, sorry, campfires are not allowed here.
